Hina's Tea Edit

I just love this place, the people, the selection, atmosphere, everything. So sad it is closing, my happy place is gone. :-(

My favorite place to go for tea in Sacramento. They are very chill, yet still very helpful, knowledgeable, nice, and they remember you, which is a nice bonus. They have a large selection of tea for every budget. If you don’t know what you want they will always give a good recommendation. Either take the loose leaf to go of they will brew you a pot (Bodum Tea Press). Hina’s has plenty of seating. They also do tea lattes, and I think espresso. Free wi-fi as well.

If I were to open a tea shop, I would do it like Hina’s. It is very modern in style, the tea selection is great, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and not pretentious and her prices are great. I don’t live in Sacramento but always stop when I visit. I’ve been told that if there’s something specific I’m looking for, call next time I’ll be up and they’ll make sure they have it in stock. That just shows to me that they honestly love tea and care about their customers which makes me wish Hina’s was closer than a 7 hour drive.

It’s open and quiet. It sells lots of diffrent teas. The customer service is awesome. The only reason it did not get a 5 star is because I reserve those for high tea places.
