Camellia Sinenis is my favorite teahouse/teashop. The atmosphere is peaceful and subdued, but never pretentious; the servers are friendly and knowledgeable; and most importantly, the teas are top notch. From standard green and black varieties to rare aged puerhs and oolongs, Camellia Sinensis is a must-try, whether you’re new to tea or a connoisseur .

For those familiar with tea houses, here you will find friendly servers, wonderful atmosphere, and a great selection of teas.

General tips for those who are new to tea houses! Don’t expect food. Note that the servers take the preservation of the atmosphere verrry seriously. And don’t be afraid to experiment!
