I stopped here while in New York and really enjoyed it! It’s truly a tea drinker’s take on Starbucks, but there’s a niche I’d like to see filled in every city. Their specialty seems to be the frou frou lattes made on a tea base, and the one I had was outstanding. They also had a good supply of loose tea if you’re looking for something a bit more traditional. There was limited indoor seating and it was all occupied. When the weather is nice, there’s also outdoor seating and a nearby park.

Argo Tea is basically Starbucks for tea lovers. It’s a chain here in New York, particularly in the Village. Most of their stuff is sweetened or with milk, but you can also buy loose-leaf tea in the section that has mugs and steepers and such.

I really like their coconut chai lattes – they have gotten me through many long nights of studying and homework. If you think Starbucks Chai Tea Lattes are good…this makes them taste like swamp water.

My only complaint is that I can never find a seat. Other than that, yay Argo!
