Miss this place. Have many happy memories of coming here for lunch with friends, having wonderfully prepared food (pasties and garden-fresh vegetable tarts, mm), sharing lapsang souchong from a beautiful silver tea set, and talking all afternoon surrounded by antiques.
I own my own tea business, but I don’t have a store front. So when I want to go to a tea room, this is where I go! Oh my gosh, the food is to die for and I haven’t had a bad cup of tea here either!
