I was in Harrogate recently for a brass band contest, and having heard a lot of good things about Bettys (plus the fact it was about 200 yards from the contest venue), I decided to go. They have a good selection of teas, both loose and bagged, which are also available to be bought in the little bakery-type shop in there. I had Pussimbing Estate Darjeeling and China Rose Petal and I was impressed by the quality of both, especially the darjeeling, which I bought 100 grams of. They also have a large menu and serve really good food. The staff were attentive and friendly to top it all off.

This really is an excellent place to spend some time. You will often see a queue to get into Betty’s, and theres good reason! Very nice atmosphere and lovely staff. The food is lovely and the tea almost as good. For an all round place-to-be its hard to finder nicer!
