This is where my obsession truly took root. The staff are all so friendly and fun. I go in and say “this is what I like” and they make great suggestions that 9times/10 I absolutely love! I try to stop by almost weekly if only to taste the tea of the day.

I love DavidsTea. I love the accessories, the clean lines of the displays and the teas. Occasionally I find the staff a little snooty, although there are a few people that work there that are super enthusiastic and once you get up to the counter are very helpful. As a warning, if you go as a new customer when it is packed with people the whole thing is confusing, as you don’t know where to line up and there isn’t anyone paying attention enough to recognize new customers and give them that extra hand in explaining how the shop works. However, after going more times with friends and when it isn’t crammed with people I can just focus on smelling and tasting (and purchasing!) delicious new teas.

Great people, great service, great tea. I started at the Yonge-Eglinton location in Toronto, and when I moved to Kingston for school, I was so excited to find out that my teas would be moving with me! The Kingston location opened up around the same time that I got to Kingston, and meets or even exceeds the expectations that the Toronto location set for me.

Overall I quite enjoy coming here. Always a fast and thoughtful gift for a friend. There is very little seating and the music is not really what I’m looking for in a tea store. The loose leaf tea is good and the people are nice. Sometimes too nice. I’ve had a few friends that have been scared off because they were just having tea thrown at them and they didn’t know what to do with it all. Great for an afternoon date with friends. I end up here often on my excursions downtown :)
