The gentleman who owns this shop is an old-school tea drinker. Wonderful tea knowledge. A respectably large dine-in area with some pastries, but I ignore these to browse the two hundred plus teas he has. He buys from a German distributor, so tea quality is usually medium to high grade. Ask him questions concerning origins, history, brewing methods, etc, he’s very knowledgeable.

The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. I go for the conversation and information as much as I do the tea. He has dozens upon dozens of teas, grouped by type. You will find everything from delicate white teas to hearty English black tea. While buying bulk, do yourself a favor and get a cup brewed for yourself in the shop; sit down and have a chat with the owner about the teas you just purchased. You won’t be disappointed! While I can find comparable or slightly better quality per price online, I go back to World Tea Co. time and time again. It’s a real treasure.
