Great selection of teas, free sample, modern layout, and friendly employees. Great place to shop for and buy teas.

I wish there was more seating and a place to sit down and relax. There might have been some in the back, but I didn’t explore back there. If there is seating, then it gets a 5.

Plus, they gave me a free cup of tea with my purchase.

I really enjoy going into David’s Tea. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I can smell the teas before I buy. There are free samples, both hotly brewed and loose leaf. There is a large variety of teas and I try a different kind every time I go in. I’m usually on my way to work when I go in, but there are tables in the back to sit and drink tea. Maybe I’ll go after work one of these days.

I really adore this place. I do live around the corner, so I end up going there to study a lot. They have free wifi :). Well, about the tea. Some of their teas are truly weird, and the combinations don’t really work. But others are fabulous and tasty. I would personally recommend Goji pop, superberry, the guangzhou oolong, and Northern Lights.

staff is certainly well knowledge, friendly, and attractive. although I’m at first put off by the “apple store” atmosphere of the place, I can be won back by lovely strangers offering big smiles and free samples. They have a wide verity of tea that at first looks very impressive, but being a bit of a traditionalist, I was underwhelmed by small selection of pure teas. lots of original herbal mixes as well as common favorites, but also lacked selection of plain herbs, but its forgivable since they are not a spice/herb shop and do not claim to be. It has a nice soho atmosphere if that’s what your into. the crowd seems nice and nonjudgmental, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable with myself sitting there on my own on one of those lazy study days. It would be a nice place to plan a relaxing date. your better to leave your usual new yorker angst out the door, everyone is looking forward to a chill atmosphere with friendly people and a good cup of tea. over all I liked and will come again to buy bulk of the true teas.
