This tea room is a must visit if you haven’t ever been. That said, it’s not my favorite tea room. I don’t find the snacks appetizing and despite their tea list being moderately sizes, I always feel limited and have a difficult time selecting something. It is a nice tea room though, and they have a teashop next door that is nice too.

This is my favorite tea company in the country. I enrolled in their Tea of the Month club and got way more tea than I expected for a year. That was two years ago and I’m no where near finished on any of them. The tea house at the Chinese Gardens is beautiful and so relaxing. I live in Ohio and when I visit Oregon I always go there. This company knows what they are doing. Working for them would be a dream job.

This place is my tea shangri-lah. I always try to visit when I’m in town.

I owe a lot to this place and its sister location at the Lan Su Chinese Garden. If it weren’t for Tao, I wouldn’t have graduated from teabags. Their Silver Needle white tea made me a convert. The appearance of their main shop is traditionally rustic but with a modern flare, and all of their teas are served in the fashion of the region they stem. (You actually get a gourd and bombilla when you order yerba mate.) Can’t say enough good things about it.

This tea house is in the midst of the Chinese Garden in the China Town district. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, they serve a fantastic variety of authentic chinese tea treats, along with a huge selection of teas!
