I’ve been a long time patron of ZenCha. I don’t go as often these day as I live several hours away. They have exceptional teas and the owner and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They also host tea demonstrations the educate people on the different cultures of tea. If you’re ever in Columbus you can check out one of their three locations.

Great selection. Very relaxed atmosphere. I would love to try their food. At first i thought it was a little bit expensive but they serve good quality tea and you also pay for the expertise. ($13 for two teas, actually not that bad if i wasn’t on a budget!)

I love ZenCha. Their selection is huge and they know what they’re doing with steep times and water temperatures, which is not always the case with tea houses. The atmosphere is great—relaxed in the Short North and sophisticated in Bexley. Their food menu is also to die for, especially the brunch items. Cannot recommend enough!

Very much enjoyed my visit. The atmosphere was relaxing and the wait staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. My friend and I enjoyed a delicious gyokuro and I’ve been kicking myself ever since that I didn’t buy some to take home. The next time I am in Columbus I will definitely stop in here.

ZenCha offers a quiet atmosphere with a balanced selection of teas and pretty decent food to boot.

I was pleasantly surprised they offered milk teas on the menu as these are a staple of mine during the late Autumn and Winter. They’re hearty and warm and more filling than your usual tea.

The Matcha Milk Tea was delicious, as was the Pu’erh I had.

I was disappointed in their refusing to make a tea I wanted iced. It’s nice that they realize a tea may not be as good iced as another would, but it’s what I wanted and that made my experience less fantastic.

I highly recommend this establishment. The wait staff is highly knowledgeable about the teas they serve. They use an appropriate tea service based on the origin of the tea. They have been through some growing pains, but their new menu is incredible. This is a must try for anyone in the area.

Very small building, very limited parking. Located on N High St so it’s easily accessible. My boyfriend and I had an interesting experience there. There was nothing with plum on their menu so I asked the waiter if they had anything, so he brought out “Friendship Tea” that his stepmother brought from over seas…it was an experience if you’ve ever had friendship tea! I also ordered the Pu Erh tea, which was lovely. I rated ZenCha a 4 instead of a 5 because of the limited parking (we got a ticket because we didn’t see the “No Parking [at such and such time]” sign, and small seating availability, and the journey to the bathroom is less than satisfactory…
