So I was wondering what it would take to steep this tea to the point that it would be to astringent. Well, I got pulled into a meeting and forgot about my little pot steeping for a couple of hours, lol. That finally did, but surprisingly it wasn’t unbearably astringent. Just added a little extra water and ended up with more flavorful pu’erh with a little dryer finish I like. Of course, I am in now way advocating steeping your pu’erh tea for hours. :D

I got this from a friend in Norway from a Tea Swap. It’s smells awesome before, during, and after the steep! Almost like an Apple Cider! If you oversteep it it taste more like a bitter green tea with flavoring…but if you steep it just right the Apple Cider-ness is perfect with the Green Tea! Creative, Fun blend! Thumbs Up!

I think it is a great combination of black and green teas with full-bodied taste and a bright bergamot aroma.

drank Lady Grey by Twinings

Somewhat off-topic, but when I was a very young boy, my friends and I wrote a very dirty song relating to G. I. Joe, the title of and lyrics to which were, “Naked Lady Jaye! Naked Lady Jaye!”

Smells a bit creamy prior to steeping. Not much scent after steeping. Nice darker Rooibos Color. You can certainly taste the sweetness of the Rooibos with a slight hint of cream and barely-there strawberry. All-in-all – a nice, sweet cuppa.

A little grassy, but not necessarily in a bad way. I can taste the peach, but it’s somewhat fake tasting. Overall enjoyable.

Both my husband and I love this, and we don’t often love the same things. I prefer it unsweetened, with just milk or cream.

Flavors: Bergamot, Lavender

a very good pu-erh. Earthy taste, rich “puerhish” taste.

This tea is pretty good. At first I was turned off by the name “gunpowder” in it, so I purchased a sampler and found out I should have just purchased a full size container because I love the mint taste.

This is, hands down, the best tea that has ever passed my lips. My son, his entire brood of teenaged band mates and all my friends are wild about it. The only problem is that I cannot find it in the concord NH area. How can i order it online?

drank Coconut Chai Latte by Tea Forte

Wow. You can really smell the coconut right off from the moment you open the packet. The coconut actually gives a rather creamy flavour that goes well with the spices making it chai. As it cools, the toasted quality comes out more.
I was somewhat surprised that the directions didn’t mention milk and sugar, as this is specifically entitled as a latte, but decided to make it and try it without anyway. I don’t regret it, but I do wonder what it would be like when doctored up as I normally would with chai, or made with hot milk rather than the water that the packet directs, as well.

My favorite “writing” tea. Great plain, or with milk and sugar. I’m hard-pressed not to say it’s my very favorite tea. I just can’t pick a favorite. I have over 30 teas!
