drank Mon Secret by Nina's Paris
215 tasting notes

Well, now that I look at the picture on this page and at my actual tea… I am not sure if they are the same. Because I sure don’t have any of these fancy fruit pieces! The Mon Secret that I got is largely just tea leaves… There’s bits and pieces of something in it, I guess. Hmmm…

The steep has a beautiful dark ruby color but it looks and tastes just like keemun tea with not much else to it. It’s a little disappointing, but I am not sure who to blame for it. I seriously believe that there’s something not right with the blend I got. Perhaps getting their teas from Amazon is not an entirely good idea?

I think I might… Although I should have realized it before I even opened the pack. I gotta give this batch I have a closer look.

ME & TEA

I started drinking tea when I was a teenager, my dad used to make tea a million times a day as it was (and still is!) good for his health. So he would make it for the entire family. Usually it was Lipton with a teaspoon of sugar per cup and a slice of lemon. I was fond of it made this way then a lot.

Then I would have occasional loose leaf teas, I slowly got into green tea… I would mostly stick to bagged tea though. It was just convenient.

Only recently, in the middle of 2013, did I start getting seriously into all kinds of loose leaf tea.
