4 Tasting Notes

Raspberry Zinger from Celestial Seasonings
75

Color: Dark Purple
Aroma: Lemony/Earthy
Taste: Like a lemon raspberry sorbet with a distinctly raspberry finish. Strong lemonade flavor.
I think it tastes even better when steeped longer and then iced. I will most likely purchase this again, especially in the summer.

Caribbean Calypso Mate from Teavana
51

Color: Pale yellow
Aroma: Lemony (Like Pledge)
Taste: I taste mostly lemongrass with a hint of pineapple/mango on the finish. I brewed this weak and strong… tastes a little richer and full bodied on the second steep of the same leaves.

I don’t know how another reviewer got purple… that’s interesting. I’d say this is more of a lemongrass flavor and every thing else is a subtle hint. Middle of the road for me. I’ll most likely not buy this again, but was fun to taste.

Mint Green Tea from Twinings
58

This tea is pure spearmint. Requires long steeping, and liberal amounts of sweetener. I really enjoy it over ice. If you’re into subtle hints of flavor instead of strong flavored tea’s then this is not for you.

Orange and Passion Fruit & Jasmine from Lipton
67

This is a good everyday tea. I taste a lot more orange/jasmine with hints of passion fruit. The taste profile is pretty aggressive. Aroma is earthy with hints of orange peel.

I bought this on a whim a long time ago when I was sick and I’ve had a box in the pantry ever since.
