Samurai Chai Mate from Teavana

Excellent blended with a regular Masala Chai. The result wasn’t as robust as Samurai alone, but a more subtle take on its regular flavors. This blend is better less sweet than I would take Masala alone.

Same as last night, still not “sweet” as much as bitter, so I’ll steep really briefly next time.

This is a given for anyone who has more than half a brain, but do not ever mix this with lemon mate. Such a disgusting moment of my life.

Snow Geisha from Teavana

Mixed feelings- it’s pretty dang strong, but would be good sweetened and iced.

Mate Lemon Blast from Teavana

Lighter than I thought it would be, and very refreshing. I’m going to try to mix this one with some things later.

Japanese Wild Cherry from Teavana

This green tea actually brews to be more sour than sweet, but the right small amount of sugar defuses the sourness and leaves a somewhat light cherry flavor. I am excited to try to make a sweet iced tea with this though!

Two cups at two different Starbucks. I am getting used to Mate…this could be bad.

Shaken Iced Tea Lemonade from Tazo

My vice. At least it means I am going to get work done today!

Masala Chai from Teavana

i made the biggest cupful that we have in my house, but burned my wrist on the steam, so no thumbs up for you

Much better with a hint of milk and some sugar. I usually hate sweet hot tea (beyond masala chai) but this is definitely one that works better sweet for me. I want to try it as though it were chai later just to see how it goes, because it’s rocking right now.

I didn’t steep enough tea for long enough, I think, though I am not a fan of white tea so I may just be too dense for this light of a flavor. Next cup I’ll add some more and try it, because the smell is amazing.

Another cup after dinner with a friend, and even though it was a second steep it still was delicious :D

Masala Chai from Teavana

Tried this for the first real time today, with 1:3 milk to water (I wish we had more than skim though) and two heaping teaspoons of sugar. Next time I want to combine it with some mate just to see how it goes. The spice on this is pretty nice though!

Kamiya Papaya from Teavana

I added a nice sized spoonful to a large glass of this iced, and it actually was pretty good.

Black Iced Tea from Tazo

Par usual when I’m at Starbucks and not drinking my own tea, I got one of these. It isn’t the best tea in the world, but I drink sweet tea so I need to get my fix when I am there…

Kamiya Papaya from Teavana

I made this one iced- it’s really fruity, so it translated into a pretty strong, but not traditional, iced tea. I’m experimenting with sweetening it, but too much sugar brings out too much of the flowery tastes.
