One of the best teas ever, and I’m proud to say that about a cheaper, bagged tea! It truly smells and tastes like a fruit tea should. It’s very sweet, which is a good alternative for when you’re tempted to make a hot chocolate – I just add a bit of sugar and wait for it to cool down. I’ve liked this tea for years, as I can remember drinking this as a kid.

Teas like these are the ones that have me going to more eccentric places such as Teavana, because I can barely consider this tea at all. Where’s the apple? All I smelled/tasted was… cinnamon. Not the nice rich kind of cinnamon, just the cheap hot tamale like flavour in hot water. Yuck.

…cheap hot tamale. Damn, I wish I’d thought of that first. An excellent descriptor for this particular tea.

There’s omething about Rooibos that doesn’t agree with me. Anywho, I tried this tea and I wanted to like it. It smells sweet and spicy, but the flavour clashed and I couldn’t stand it. Bleh.

drank Earl Grey by Tazo

Totally reminded me of Fruit Loops, and apparently I’m not the only one who thought so. As unpleasant as that sounds, I actually quite enjoyed it. It’s a yummy tea to have when I’m craving black tea with a bit of milk and sugar, but not as good as I’d imagine Earl Grey should be. Less of a fake citrus flavour would be nice.

I have constant stomach troubles and this tea is my saving grace. It’s a classic peppermint tea with bit of spiciness added to it, which I feel is the tarragon. I don’t necessary taste the licorice in the tarragon.. I add a little bit of honey to it and bring it to class in a travel mug almost every morning. I prefer a refreshingly minty tea over caffeinated coffee any day.

Tried this a while ago, and it smelt distinctively of gingerbread to me, which was definitely appealing. Could be a good holiday tea? I could barely taste the coconut, perhaps just the slightest after-taste of it, so that took away from the unique combination I paid for. Nevertheless it was still a good tea. Maybe I’ll try looking for a ginger chai instead.

This tea is alright. To me, it tastes like a spicier version of peppermint tea with hints of licorice. I prefer my pure peppermint blend.

This has to be one of my all-time favourites. It’s calming and soothing as the titles clearly suggests. With a little bit of honey and lemon it has always soothed my cold/flu with the tummy-friendly mix of spearmint and chamomile. I keep this stuff handy.

drank Pineapple Kona Pop by Teavana
71 tasting notes

As a pineapple fan, this tea is so yummy! I’ve tried this as a sample numerous times and it’s always appealed to me the same. Not too strong, not too weak. It tastes really tropical and refreshing. Something you wouldn’t want to drink hot though. Lightly sweetened with the German sugar rocks Teavana sells and iced, this is liquid heaven and I will be buying this soon to treat myself.

Preparation
Iced
