Breaking up the iced cups of Bear Trap with a hot cup of this tea. It’s gentle sweet icing flavor is a refreshing alternative to the tart berry. This is another tea nearing a sipdown and that’ll be one sad goodbye. Even with age and some flavor deterioration, this is still a favorite.

So this might not have gone bad yet but it has seen better days. I decided it was time to try out my new iced tea press pitcher and that gave me an opportunity to use the last of this leaf. I also put a couple teaspoons of Rose All Day just to counterbalance all the blackberry leaf that fell to the bottom of the package. The end result has a nice berry flavor, thankfully, because I have like 8 glasses of this stuff to drink.

This is a strong cup of tea. Too strong for my blood and a touch bitter. I can see those who like this sort of thing being pleased but I am just not the target audience here. It was nice to get a sample though.

Last time I had this it was cold brewed and it was disgusting. Today I am having it iced and though there was a bit more blackberry leaf in the scoops today than I would have liked, it is drinkable which means it had not gone bad like I previously thought.

Still a tasty melon tea but I think it achieved its goal too much because this can probably be replicated by infusing watermelon, mint, and lime in water. So as much as I enjoyed this tea, I don’t think I need more. Wouldn’t turn away another cup if offered though :P
