6444 Tasting Notes
I really do have a limited tea selection until my box of teas arrives from my Dad. Until then, I have this delicious tea and so I am having yet another cup. This is a cookie tea if I have ever had one. Each time I enjoy it, I am shocked at just how much I like a teabag tea.
Preparation
This tea smells SO amazing but the taste falls a bit short. However, when milk is added the black tea base is toned down and there is definitely a cookie taste. Not a super sweet cookie but rather a slightly burnt spiced cookie. Not bad but I have two bags of it (since Herbal Infusions sent me a duplicate order) and so I will probably put one up for swap if anyone is interested.
Preparation
Mine smells like pumpkin and has orange maple leaf sprinkles in it… seems strange to me. LOL will have to try it and see.
@Dexter – It smells good to me but I am not loving the taste. I am finding that with a few of the Herbal Infusions teas. However, Marshmallow Snowflake Earl Grey is REALLY good I had like 3-4 cups of it the first day I tried it.
@ Josie Jade – I will message you when I get back to Montreal and we will arrange a swap. My Dad is sending me a box of tea with BF orders from Harney, Butiki, 52 teas, and American Tea Room so I will have plenty of teas to swap when I get back. There is definitely some of this tea with your name on it though :)
I really do love this tea. It has spice but is still deliciously sweet. The vanilla is present but not overwhelming. And orange rounds out the flavor without being in-your-face. Also the sparkles, gotta love the sparkles!!
Preparation
Yay! It was one of the first teas I found that I really liked and I have not grown tired of it. It’s one of those teas that is flavorful in a way that is suitable for any mood as opposed to other teas that are extremely tasty but you need to crave them to really enjoy them as they are so novel or bold.

I made the last of the sample JoonSusanna sent me and this tea is incredibly underwhelming. More than anything, I get a mediocre black tea base. If I search very, VERY hard, I can mildly detect a hint of banana but it is a lot of work to pick up a very subtle note. There is also a bit of thickness that might represent the pancakes. All in all, I was not impressed but I am glad I got to try it. You never know what a tea will be like unless you try it out first and with that in mind, thank you JoonSusanna for sending a sample my way :)

Thank you OMGsrsly for sharing this with me!! It will be missed now that it is gone but I don’t think I loved it enough to pay the shipping to get more. However, if I saw this in a store or someone were to offer me a cup of this vanilla, caramel, berry goodness, I would definitely not turn it down.
Shipping from Vendome Cadeau is only 8 euros, and they carry it. So wish I could try this! It sounds delicious.
My decaf choices are quite limited right now and after the not-so-awesome Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride, I wanted something with a lot of flavor but not particularly fancy or novel (like the unique Cacao teas or Pistachio Cream). That left me with this and Jessie’s Tea and something about mint was just particularly appealing. I actually really like this since it is a no muss, no fuss peppermint tea. It has a lot of flavor and it is a tea that can be pleasant no matter my mood.
Preparation
So I am having this tea hot, plus I added some Monkfruit in the raw and I am still getting a soggy cracker tea. I know that is a weird thing to say but to me this tea tastes like an unsalted premium plus cracker that got a bit wet. I have no idea why and I tried it different ways and with different additives but that is all I am getting. I had such high hopes for this one too. In my mind, if I were to like any of the Celestial Seasoning holiday teas, it would definitely have been this one. Turns out I was wrong but you never know unless you try.
Preparation
I am having this tea yet again. I don’t know what it is about this blend but I have fallen in love. It is a delicious cookie with a delicious cinnamon sugar glaze on top. However, I think the sweet spot is at a 4 minute steep as opposed to the shorter steep time recommended on the box. Nevertheless, this is still a great cup of tea and oh so easy to make!
Preparation
I have come to realize that this tea was delicious the first time I had it but it is a tea I really need to crave in order to enjoy. I find each time I reach for it, or any of the other cacao teas, I am not super excited for it and so I really don’t enjoy the cup. Today I am actually debating about dumping this cup. However that could be due to underleafing which is making this taste like very weak and not very pleasant chocolate water. I know this is a good cup of tea because I LOVED it the first time I had it.
Now I am worried if this is another Forever Nuts situation where I loved the cup and then completely lost interest. I hope not but I am sure someone will take it off my hands if it is. I am not quite ready to let it go just yet though as I suppose it is good to keep around for the odd times I do get those chocolate cravings.
Preparation
The Indigo Book store in my city has this one, the mint version, and the vanilla version listed as teas stocked in store (as well as a few Harney teas), but I haven’t had a chance to go in person to check it out. I’d heard of book stores stocking Harney’s but never herbal infusions so I thought that was kind of neat.
I saw it on their website and if I remember correctly, the price is ridiculous compared to the prices on herbal infusions website.
Indigo charges $16 for a 1.5 oz tin (just over 40 g. Herbal Infusions sells 50 g for $7.50 + $5 flat shipping so even with shipping, they are still cheaper. I tried to see how much herbal infusions charges for the tin but they are sold out in all the flavors so I can’t find the price.
This tea is growing on me. It is a sweet blueberry tea and it is delicious. Sometimes I hope for more thickness since jam is typically thick. Nevertheless, this is always a tasty cup that is never bitter and never lacks the blueberry goodness.
