I ordered this tea at my local Teavana’s tea bar. It is very good. The peppermint is a little stronger than I would like, but it’s a great tea if you have a stuffy head!
8 Tasting Notes
I tried this because it was decaf and I wanted a tea to drink at bedtime. Definitely not my cup of tea. The rooibous just leaves an aftertaste that I don’t like.
The spices and chocolate notes are great. I just can’t get past the rooibous taste.
I don’t care for any of the Rooibos teas or it’s cousins. I don’t know why, but the aftertaste just doesn’t sit well with me. My wife loves it though. This is her favorite.
I tried this tea in my local Teavana store. I really liked it. It has a grassy taste to it, but I don’t mind it at all.
This is my everyday tea. I love the Assam Gold Rain more, but I chose this for my everyday tea since it is cheaper. (I drink about a quart a day instead of coffee.) I like it strong, so I do 1.5 tsp per cup. I add sugar too, about a tsp per cup.
I ended up having to get this tea when my local Teavana store was out of English Breakfast. I have to say, it is my favorite tea hands down now. I like a little sugar in mine and definitely drink it hot. I did try it iced once and..no not good. I found it to be very time sensitive, so don’t over steep it.
I have to say, Oolong is not my favorite tea. This one reminded me of turnip greens! I may have to give a different variety of Oolong a try.
