drank Bubblegum by Steeped Tea

I’ve had this one twice now, once with a bubblegum in my steeper, and once without. The addition of the gum definitely sweetens up the tea a little, which I like, but I also like the more tart version of this. I had high hopes for this one, since it’s a fruit tea that has a couple of my favourite flavours, and I wasn’t disappointed! Will have to pick up some more of this the next time I order from this company. :)

This one reminds me of lemon meringue pie – mmmm. It’s a light taste, though, which is good considering the green tea base. I do enjoy my lemon teas, and this one is a nice flavour. Not as strong as a lemon as I usually like, but I don’t think it would work in this case.

drank Asian Green Tea by Hickory Farms

I had this the other day at work, and realised I hadn’t made a proper tasting note. This is a decent, plain green tea. It’s not spectacular, but it’s not terrible either, considering it’s a bagged tea rather than loose.

Oh, Davids Tea has hit me right in my weak spot with this one – Earl Greys! I stopped in today for a sample and oh my word, was this ever delicious. I know I am heavily biased into loving basically everything Earl Grey that wanders into my life, but I LOVED this. And I’m not really into chocolate teas anymore, but the floral addition and the Earl Grey base saved it for me. I added a little bit of milk to make this creamier, but I think it’d be fine just straight up. Definitely going back to get more of this before it goes away. I NEED this in my stash, ASAP.

I need to adjust my rating on this one, I think – I don’t think I enjoy it as much as I did in the past, sigh. Very, very tart – and I only have about half the normal amount of leaves in that I would normally put in my timolimo. It tastes like raspberries, which I appreciate, but it’s almost to the point now where I’m puckering up my face as I drink it! I think this one is far better enjoyed iced, so I may have to put this in my iced tea stash after today. >_>

drank English Breakfast by DAVIDsTEA

I haven’t had this blend in a while, so I figured I’d give it a proper review. I picked some of this up yesterday for my need to have a plain, straight black tea to have in my stash at work. And it was cheap, so problem solved. I like this – it’s very basic, but that’s what I like about English Breakfast blends. Black tea as it should be!

drank Big Apple by DAVIDsTEA

I’m not sure if I’ve properly reviewed this one before, but in case I haven’t… here we go! Had this tonight as a friend still had some in her stash. I’m not sure it tastes like what I remember, but I may have had the steep temperature a little too high. >_> In any case, this didn’t taste as apple-y as I thought, and it had some other profile I can’t quite put my finger on. Caramel, perhaps?

drank Coconut Grove by DAVIDsTEA

It’s hard for me to distinguish between this and Coconut Oolong – and both taste yummy! I don’t get to have white teas very often, which is a sad thing, as I really enjoyed this one. Very sweet with the coconut, but I added a splash of milk to make it little extra creamy. I hope this one comes back!

I haven’t had a gyokuro-based green in a long time, and I wanted to try it to see if I liked it better then the senchas from DT. It doesn’t quite wow me as much as Sencha Ashikubo, but I did enjoy it better than I thought I would! Definitely a grassy taste, but not too powerful, from what I found. Again, if it wasn’t so darn expensive, I’d have this in my stash!

Only had a small sample of this when I dropped in to my store today, but it definitely intrigued me. I think I’m going to have to get a full cup to fully appreciate the taste, but I liked what I had. I never really thought about combining ginger and peppermint (with everything else that this blend has going for it).
