Shrugs, I mean it’s sealed and everything. I’m assuming on sale means they aren’t going to produce anymore / it’s at the end of it’s life cycle or product cycle. It might just be that Harney’s isn’t as flavorful. For the price I’m not complaining, but I wouldn’t repurchase it again if I had a choice as this one is so much better.
Stephanie: Not necessarily. It could also be that they overstocked on a particular tea and using a sale to reduce stock quickly.
Got it! Yeah makes sense. Thanks Liberteas!
I was eyeing that sale on H&S, too. I won’t order it now for myself since it’s so light in flavor. But I guess it would be a good “starter” Jasmine for the milder tea drinker.
You know what, I am not a big fan of Teavana for my own set of reasons, but they do have pretty tasty teas. Their peach blooming tea is pretty amazing.
Stephanie, I can send you some if you want.
Ohhh, I might have to try that LiterTeas. Peach + flower bloom sounds like a winning combination.
They have a couple of other flavors too, I believe. The Peach is what caught my attention most prominently though.
That is excellent to hear. Glad you enjoyed it. I love to take these to sea with me as they scare the crud out of my fellow travelers. Some tell me they wont try them on looks alone. Yet they eat the galley food… I wonder. LOL I will have to send you some others before I deploy in the June/July time frame.
They won’t try silly flower teas? My co-workers were amazed by it. Then again they love tea as well so that might be why they were so excited to try it. They were looming over the cup the whole time watching the flower bloom unravel. Actually, they were probably excited because they wanted to see what it unraveled into because all I told them was to drop it in a cup of not so hot water. As much as I like surprises, send me a message before you decide to send me more tea as I might be moving soon. Actually I suppose I can message you when I know my new address.
Boo to Harney for selling old tea! So I guess all sale teas are old?
