I am once again taken to school and instructed as to what tea should taste like. My goodness.

I implore all of you to purchase some samples from this guy. Please! Seriously, your minds will be blown. It’s that good!

edit: now that i’m a little more versed in the world of puerh, i can honestly say that this one is a cut above, like pretty much all tea from this shop. if hindsight serves me there was a distinct cleanliness and clarity to the flavors which, at this point, i won’t be able to extract from memory. they were good ones though.

i cant justify giving any tea a 100 because, in my mind, that would make it insurmountable by any other tea. if i ever have the PERFECT tea it would get a 99.

that being said, please try the Menghai Green Brick as well. it is aged and has characteristics of what we have come to know as shu but it is different and so much more complex than many other teas, let alone shu puer, that ive had. im telling you it must be tasted to be believed.

i know i know. get the sample size though and try it. theres really no reason for anyone to like a standard shu. theyre gross. this one is different though, in a class of its own. (it doesnt taste like poo AT ALL)

its really only 30% shu anyway. im sorry if im pushing it on you i just think you will be pleasantly surprised.
