Love this tea. Juicy peach, subtle ginger. Would be excellent iced but really good hot.

drank Tropical Mango by Meßmer

Back to the fruity herbal tea since I found a bunch on sale. This one is supposed to be Hawaii. Not really a mango flavor, just generic fruity. Kinda forgettable.

Mango is a difficult flavoring — it usually tastes like generic fruity orange-apricot to me. If you’re looking for something caffeinated and can access it in your country, Lupicia’s mango flavored teas receive high praise around here.

I will have to check it out, thank you! I have usually found fruity teas to just kinda miss the mark a little bit for me, I tend to like florals more but if I can find that one, I’m hoping it will change my mind :)

What I love most about this one is it won’t keep me up at night yet still is strong. I find it can be hard to get the perfect cup right- its easy to steep too long or not long enough or use a little too much or too little. Its not the best black tea but its ok.

drank Bee's Knees by Harney & Sons

Bought a Mango gin about a year ago that I really really liked. Decided to try this out and no! Tastes like mold and mildew (or how I imagine those things would taste). Not for

drank Versailles Rose by Nina's Paris

Bought it because it smelled so bright and grapefruit in the shop. I love grapefruit! Don’t get any rose flavor. Kinda reminds me of a brisk tea with a weird citrus twist. Not bad. Probably souldnt repurchase. Will likely keep the tin forever!

drank Boston by Harney & Sons

It’s probably safe by now to say I don’t like any of the Harney berry flavored teas. Or the fruity black teas. It feels similar to the back currant, Paris type teas and I’m just tired of that flavor. Doesn’t really taste of cranberries or almonds, just a bit like so many of their other teas. Luckily my sister liked it, so I gave her my tin.

Shae

I never found a way to enjoy this one. I gave the rest of my tin to my MIL.

I used to love it but there is some new ingredient they are using that is putting me off. I gave mine away, too. I think there is an artificial vanilla that smells like mildew.

Roxy King

Oh no! Sad to hear it changed, wish I could have tried the original (it seems so many changed have lately). It tastes really similar to the Paris tea, it definitely could be the vanilla that is off putting

drank Earl Grey by Nina's Paris

Got this free when I bought a tea and had tea at Nina’s in Paris. We did a day trip, one day to to roam the city and another for Disneyland Paris. It was a great experience and I would recommend it. We got to try the cake Marie Antoinette ate and they had some replicas of her shoes and nice portraits. Overall its a decent Earl Grey. I enjoyed it. Not my fave but top three.

ashmanra

This tea used to be my absolute favorite Earl Grey when they used a Keemun base. It was exquisite. Then they switched to Ceylon. sobs

Roxy King

Ooh that sounds better for sure! I wonder if thats why they were giving it away, they gave a tin to everyone that bought tea or sat in. Ill have to keep my eye out for an Earl Grey with Keemum.

ashmanra

Fortnum & Mason uses Keemun for their base. I think there are some other companies that do as well, but I can’t recall which ones right off hand!

Roxy King

Thank you! I will definitely be on the lookout since it’s one of my faves :)

drank Big Red Sun by Harney & Sons

Took me a half a tin to love this. It can get really butter if over steepeed or you add too much, I think I had to get the balance right. When steeped perfectly its nice and smooth specially with a little sugar.

drank Apple Cinnamon by Harney & Sons

I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I thought I would hate it but it wasn’t as bad as I thought. I wouldn’t repurchase it though…it almost reminds me of a grain bar. The cinnamon is subtle not super spicy and the apple is muted. It’s Ok
