39 Tasting Notes
Second cup a much better than the first. I need to play around with the brew temp and time, as the instructions on the package didn’t yield a taste I like.
I hadn’t brewed this in a while, to I tired it in a cast iron pot. Just lovely. More floral this time around.
For a basic flavored tea, this is quite nice. I add a little sugar and cream, and it makes a nice dessert tea.
The minimum recommended steep time for this is 5 minutes. I have been steeping it for 7, but today I tried 10, and it made a world of difference. It was so much more rich this time around, I had to bump up the rating. If you’re on the fence about trying it, or have it at home but aren’t loving it, try a longer steep time.
I normally don’t do bagged tea, but this blend was quite nice. I brewed 2 bags in 12oz of water, and organic half & half and stevia. Just what I wanted as an after dinner treat.
I love the wine/fruit undertone of this tea. Nice and bold flavor, that holds up well in milk, but is just as good without.
The goji berries are a really unique flavor.
This is the first white tea I have EVER steeped that long, as per Rishi’s instructions. I am pleasantly surprised. This is really nice!
