I think most packages instuct to steep oolong teas quickly in too hot temperatures. I think it’s best when steeped in around 85 to 90 degrees for less than 3 minutes. I tried 80 and it was too low. The taste is rather watery now.
This is almost as good as sencha, just a tad more bitter and grassy.
Never pour boiling water on darjeeling. I think darjeeling is best when steeped at around 90 degrees. When do I learn?

I’m a little bit amazed everytime I drink pu-erh. It’s so earthy but still delicious.
I drink darjeeling too seldom and I seem to forget how much I enjoy it. There something enchanting in that flowery and malty aroma.
