As the kids say, “‘s a’ight.” Perfectly drinkable, but doesn’t make me jump out of my seat. Vanilla flavor is a little too subtle, in my opinion.

A pickier tea than I thought. Steeped just a little longer this time, but I can taste the bitterness creeping in.

Today I wasn’t sure I wanted something as acidic as Executus, but it was still sitting in my IngenuiTEA, and I was feeling too lazy to take it upstairs to clean it out. I opened up my tea drawer, pulled out some fresh chamomile leaves, and dropped a teaspoon of them into the pot.

Boom! Executus, but not so sour and tangy. The chamomile did a great job mellowing it out. Credit to Inguna Trepsa’s Zodiac Series blend Cancer for the inspiration.

Great when I’m in the mood for a fruity, tangy tea. Nice combination of flavors.

Shoulda looked at my previous tasting note before brewing this. I set my timer for 3:30, thinking that was a short enough time, and it’s already bitter. It may be that I had a bit more leaf in the pot than before, as well.

Very pleasant. Not overly grassy, a subtle hint of sweetness, and just enough earthiness. Light-bodied.

Still one of my faves. The chamomile adds such a great depth, and it is very forgiving of boiling water and oversteeping. As Cynthia says, it almost requires a strong preparation, but that’s okay with me.
