There isn’t much difference that I can taste between Teavivre’s “Superfine” and “Premium” grade. I also find their naming system a little confusing, but I guess it is hard to market a tea as 3rd/4th best?

This is a “dragonwell”. edited Not really special, or any great notes to detect. I guess my other problem is that it is more expensive than it should be.

I’m sorry for that our naming system made you confused. Teavivre’s “Superfine" grade is higher than “Premium”, and the highest quality is “Nonpareil” grade. And we can promise that this tea is from XiHu area.

Thanks for your response. Where in the Xihu area is it from? Is there any more information about the grower? I would be very curious about why this tea tastes so different from other Dragonwells I have had.

TeaVivre

You can check this link(http://www.teavivre.com/premium-dragon-well-green-tea/) and click “More Info”, then you will find there’s a map, it shows where is Our Long Jing Green Tea produced. Hope this will be useful.

I shall amend my review about the comment of the region, however unfortunately I do not believe the quality is worth the price you are charging compared to other dragonwells I have had.

blah blah blah, come on people, not every tea can be ranked 80+. Rant, rave; but honestly not every tea you drink can be ranked the same, otherwise you defeat the point of giving the grade!

So as other people have broken down their ranking systems, I am doing the same.

90-100 = I’m quite happy to buy again
70-89 = Acceptable representation
50-69 = Wouldn’t order again
20-49 = Meh
10-19 = Average tea bag ranking
0-9 = Needed to brush my teeth immediately
