still a favorite of mine. added a dash of milk today.
20 Tasting Notes
it is quite a full-bodied green tea. great for those long afternoons that seem to drag on.
Stomach’s been churning all morning, so i made a cup of this light tea. Slowly calming down now :)
I love taking a short walk to Killiney’s and getting a nice cup of Iced Teh-O. It’s love.
I haven’t drank this today but I did on sunday morning. Had a really late night on Saturday with lots of beer involved and didn’t wake up feeling too good. I popped one of these into my cup with an extra tea bag of Dilmah’s peppermint tea. The pairing really lifted my spirits immediately.
Another tea I got at the ppaper store in Taiwan. Love the tin! Similar to the rose green tea, it’s very light.
I’m liking a nice chilled cup of this tea in our terribly humid weather :)
Because i like strong teas, i had to follow up the rose green tea with this little fella
Just got back from Taipei and brought back with me a huge stash of tea :D Taiwan has so much original tea produce (plus they’re mostly if not completely organic teas) This one is very light but refreshing none the less. Comes in a convenient pyramid tea bag. Good for one cup.
Had a rather greasy lunch, typical of local hawker foods. With the heat and the grease, i was feeling really lethargic. Popped one of these little fellas in a mug of hot water and felt much better.
Starting to get used to the idea of starting my day every morning with this. Perks me up in an instant.
It’s pouring outside. Nothing beats a hot cup of tea while staying dry and cozy indoors.
Found this at a new specialty grocery store today and decided i had to try it.
I do!
Had this with breakfast actually so a little late in logging it. Nice!
Been drinking this a lot more these past few days since i got a new infuser. But I’ve been holding off with the milk and loved it! Guess I’m not much of a tea with milk person after all.
Made a quick green tea with this. Got it at the local japanese supermarket. It’s not pricey, not fussy and surprisingly, quite nice. But don’t allow the tea bag to sit in your mug too long or the nice greenish hue will soon turn a dull yellow, meaning it’s been there too long.
Love starting my day with this tea. I usually leave my teabag in longer than necessary so I get a fuller flavor. Gets me going everytime!
This was a gift from a friend traveling in New York. I find the distinct spice flavor appetizing and suitable with a hearty meal. I generally prefer teas without milk but this, I recommend with a dash of milk to enhance its flavor, making the taste more lasting.
I don’t usually get my teas from Marks and Spencer’s but I do love their Sultana cookies. This tea goes great with the cookies and most other pastries as it has a distinct flavor but is not overwhelming and somehow compliments sweet foods. If enjoying with sweet foods, I’ll recommend less sugar (none if food is really sweet on its own) and just a dash of milk.
I like that it’s not sweetened like most bottled/canned teas found commonly here in Singapore. It’s great when the weather is hot since it quenches your thirst without leaving a sticky-sweet aftertaste.
