A typical green tea. Got it at a restaurant and was happy enough that they gave me “real” tea. It’s pretty standard – not really bitter or astringent.

So I bought this here in Breckenridge at their spice merchant shop. Not only did it smell good, but I have been having trouble adjusting to the altitude so I bought some and whipped it up!
I actually like this tea, it’s interesting and enjoyable. Not a favorite though.
I liked the first steep but after that it kind of gave out.

My cat decided he wanted to try this: comes over, sniffs it, sniffs my other glass, comes back to the tea, sticks his paw in, licks it… and disgustedly flaps his paw around and flicking tea at me.
This one, I swear, comes out different every time I do it. This time it’s perfect – all butter, no bitter!!!
Cats have no taste =P
It was drinkable.
Edit: This is actually a funny story. The grandparents finally moved into an old folks home (they are in their late 80s now) and I wanted some tea because I’m sick. I was going to go down to the lobby area and get some but of course the grandmother insists she makes it for me. She ends up spending at least 15 minutes making it when I could have gotten it myself in a minute, but they like to feel useful, you know. This comes after spending Christmas with the other grandparents who also watched everything I did and offered to do it for me. I don’t think it’s because they love me, but because they like feeling needed (this grandmother isn’t really my biological grandmother). She touched all my things and to my annoyance cleaned up my steeper and threw away all the tea in it… can you ask me first, ..please?!

I had Thai tea the other day at a pho restaurant, and I NEEDED more afterwards! I bought this the next day at Teavana, and have really enjoyed it so far. I think I should add more tea next time when I brew it to make it more flavorful, and buy some condensed milk… I enjoyed it best as an iced tea.

I’ve tried lots of steeping times, but I just can’t bring myself to love it. I prefer Pai Mu Tan to silver needle
This is such a great grind tea, it makes me feel so peaceful =D Such a nice taste!
