Della Terra you got this one right! How pleasant a flavor this tea has! Truly it does have hints of molasses flavor. Makes me want to bake an apple pie or something. It is good hot and surprisingly I also liked it cold. I’ll have to try this again with some honey.

This taste… it reminds me of my grandma’s bathroom. Though it’s a sad state now a days before she always kept peach smelling soap and what not in there. The vanilla I couldn’t really taste until the tea got cold. Which I found rather odd. Not a tea I would get for myself but glad I was able to try it.

Bathroom tea does not sound pleasant :P

Not sure why I love plain green tea so much but glad I do. This one is quite grassy. Very reminiscent of the teas we had while in Japan. Still below Genmaicha in my opinion but for a straight up green tea it’s well balanced.

I get it…greens are satisfying in a particular way!

drank Dewy Cherry by Adagio Teas

Used to hate cherries. Didn’t even like cherry candy anything. But as with most adults my tastes have changed and some how I ended up finding myself liking them. Well…. kinda. I prefer the sour ones. Like in this tea.

The dry smell is great. Would make a great potpourri. But is better as a tea. I didn’t pick up much from the brewed smell. The taste isn’t quite what I thought it was going to be but I’m still enjoying it. Fruity yes but the sour cherry isn’t as present as I thought it would be. Good hot but I like it better lukewarm.

Update: 10 years later. Wow. Much has changed. I still enjoy this tisane. Though it takes a long time steeping for it to really bring out its true colors.

drank Paris by Harney & Sons

The smell is better then the taste, but the taste is good. I’ve never been to Paris but if there were a tea to go along with every city name this one would be a good fit. Perhaps I steeped it too long. I am tasting some bitterness and more black tea then I am the other flavors. I will retry this again and be more careful about my steep time.

5 min, 45 sec 1 tsp
KiwiDelight

I love this tea. I prepare it with just under boiling water and let it steep for 4 minutes. It’s only slightly bitter that way but the flavor stands out more – personally.

drank Plum Crazy by Joy's Teaspoon

Well shoot. I steeped what was left of the sample. Mostly broken tea leaves. Even with the brokenness i can still tell this is a good tea. Mine just lacks some of the plum.

Not really a fan of this tea. Pretty sure i steeped it for the right amount of time. Not tasting much chocolate though. This is one I’ll just have to retry and see if it comes out better next time.

You might want to edit your review as the tea is called Slimful :)

It’s really good with a touch of milk.

drank Raspberry Patch by Adagio Teas
1236 tasting notes

Some herbals pack a punch and some just gently land kisses on your forehead. This one is a forehead kisser. IT’s nice and light but still has enough flavor to make you feel like your not drinking flavored water. I was hoping for more raspberry flavor. Perhaps I shall go stick the remaining raspberries we have in our fridge into the tea. In fact I think I shall.

Preparation
160 °F / 71 °C 8 min or more 1 tsp

The first couple of sips I took I did not like. Way too pepperminty. As it cools down the flavor blend better but I still don’t like the pepper mint. Don’t get me wrong its a good tea. I guess I’m just not in the mood for peppermint right now.

I’m a purist but I will try a flavored as long as it doesn’t have artificial flavors.
