The leaf is a beautiful mix of green and dark…steeped, it loves to unfurl freely in the pot. Do not trap this leaf in a ball or bag, allow it room to move. It is medium and small broken pieces once fully steeped.
The liquor is golden and the aroma distinctly the woodsy, earthy Darjeeling.
It has the flavour of dark truffles, and lingers on the back of the tongue.
Enjoy this brew without milk or other adornments, as it deserves your full attention.

In our household, this is definitely a summertime favourite. I like to brew a pot of extra strong Blazing Strawberries tea, and then I mix it with a diluted lemonade to make a delicious and refreshing drink. Great for hot summer days and cool summer evenings.

I first came across this delicious Ceylon Tea while traveling in London. While shopping at Harrods, I came across the TWG Tea Booth, and the teller introduced this lovely Ceylon. I was so very pleased by the intoxicating aroma…the sale was instant. I enjoy this elixir in the later afternoon, before the evening meal. I love my black teas with milk and without the added flavour, but I also enjoy this particular tea pure. It is lovely to look at, and lovelier to sip and enjoy.
