Cheeky Lychee from DAVIDsTEA
68

I’m a huge lychee fan, whether it’s in a martini or juiced or just eating it the plain ol’ fashioned way — the whole fruit! So, that being said, I was expecting this tea to jump out at me with lychee flavour. I understand that it’s not infused and it’s really just an essence of lychee. And in that respect it’s really quite nice. But in terms of getting my lychee bang for my …. taste (?), it really missed the mark slightly.

It’s a good one, but I think it’s prompting me to mission a better version of itself. Suggestions anyone?

Detox from DAVIDsTEA
46

So I just tried this and I’ve got to say, I’m not in love with it. It’s not bad, it just doesn’t have a distinct flavour, other than lemongrass, to me. I thought that with the juniper berries and rooibos that the flavours would be deep and build up gradually… Maybe I built it up too much?

I’m a big fan of DT, but I won’t be buying a full tin of this tea any time soon.

Countess of Seville (organic) from DAVIDsTEA
82

I love citrus in my tea, but I’ve got to say that this blend isn’t thr best I’ve had. It’s good, don’t get me wrong, but if I’m going for my citrus kick I think I’d rather go eith citrin oolong or the skinny.

Chocolate Rocket from DAVIDsTEA
90

I totally thought I wasn’t going to enjoy this. I’m not a mate fan, but there’s something about the chocolate and nutty taste of this that mate that really is simply divine. Of course, I couldn’t brew it for too long…but steeped to perfection this tea is perfect for a cold winter’s day.

Crème de Menthe from DAVIDsTEA
92

I don’t drink pu-erh normally, but this tea might change that. The minty refreshing taste of this beautiful tea is enough to convert me from my greens and whites. Really is a delicious brew and I’d recommend it.

Green and Fruity from DAVIDsTEA
96

I don’t know what it is about this tea but I love it. It sort of smells like oatmeal, and although I know that’s turned off some people I know, I just love thr naturally sweet taste of this rooibos. One of my faves :)

Surprisingly (I’m not a huge chocolate in my tea fan), this tea is not only delicious but it’s extremely refreshing given its minty aftertaste. I was hoping to get more of the “spice” flavor that was described on the website, but nonetheless it’s a tasty treat!!

Green Rooibos Sunsplash from Great Lakes Tea and Spice

Err…this one didn’t do it for me today. I’m not sure if it’s going bad, or if my sense of smell is screwed up, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that there’s dill in this. Made a cup this morning and couldn’t finish it. I’ll try again tomorrow.

It’s too bad since I’m a huge rooibos fan.

Cocomama Lime from DAVIDsTEA
94

Just had this the other day when I happened to pop in to the store. I got to say, if there was a competition between berries and citrus, citrus would always win in my world. So, there’s no surprise here that the lime in this lovely concoction won me over, not only with its delicious scent, but the subtly tangy taste it adds as well.

And then they added coconut. Well, that’s it right there. I’m sold. Lovely tea, I could sip on cup after cup after cup…after cup :)

Glitter & Gold from DAVIDsTEA
91

I’m very particular with my black teas. Unlike greens and whites, I can’t stand the taste of a black tea that isn’t perfectly steeped — there seems to be a lot more room for “error” with other teas before they start affecting my palette.

That being said, glitter and gold doesn’t seem to pose that problem for me. Maybe it’s the sweetness or the cinnamon. Whatever it is, a sip of this tea is like a sip of Christmas in a cup. Sounds cheesy, I know, but this tea is awesome. It does the trick on cold winter mornings. Definitely one to try!

The Skinny (organic) from DAVIDsTEA
91

This tea has beautiful citrus undertones, reminiscent of Citron Oolong — another one of David’s Tea blends I adore. The depth of flavour is one that is deep and tasty. I just can’t decide whether I like this better than Citron Oolong or not. Explains why I keep both in my cupboard!

Juicy Pear from Tealish
63

Don’t get me wrong, this is a fine tea. Beautiful green tea with pear — how could you go wrong. It’s just that there’s something that’s almost chemical or unnatural about this tea. It might be there’s too many ingredients? I don’t know.

At the end of the day, this is a great tea and it tastes fine. Personally I just need to get over the overly candy scent of the leaves and other ingredients. I think next time around I’ll go for a simpler blend.

I’m torn. It’s good, but it doesn’t seem like it should be…

Jessie's Tea from DAVIDsTEA
83

What a delicious tea. I love coconut in my tea, and the combination with rooibos is a sure hit! Had a strong cup this morning and might have another one later. Simply delicious :)

Genmaicha from DAVIDsTEA
91

There’s something about this tea that puts me into a different frame of mind. Whether it’s from David’s Tea or at a Japanese restaurant, the flavour of toasted rice with green tea is one that puts me at peace. A truly divine tea.

Toasted Walnut from DAVIDsTEA
83

This tea is a bit surprising. The taste is a bit different from what you’d expect when you first smell it. The aroma it gives is super sweet, but once steeped it’s almost slightly bitter. It’s really nice (I’m not a fan of super sweet). This is one I’ll be purchasing time and time again.
