Picked up this tea in London’s Covent Garden Tea Palace. Fantastic tea. I’m going to run out of it far too quickly.

Perfect “before bed time” tea.
Watching last night’s rachel maddow over a cup of darjeeling coffee. It’s a beautiful morning. #fb
Hot sticky summer morning in Florida. Iron Goddess and the whine of air conditioner.
work, work, work, eat, nap, lapsang, work, work, work.
Woke up to the sound of rain. Either i’m in a classic rock song or florida in late summer. Either way, I accept my fate with Darjeeling Double Malt and some scrambled eggs.
Sunday morning. Darjeeling. Cheesy Sci-Fi. All is well with the world.
So I love lapsang brewed strong with just a little soy milk an some stevia. I love the smokey flavor.
Still getting used to the veggie taste of “real” green tea. This one has the interesting puffed rice addition.
Perfect Iced on a summer day. Semi-sweet but not “kool-aid” sweet. Very nice.
So I bought Kevin rose’s ‘tea starter kit’ from samovar lfe teas in San Francisco. It includes a green, a black and a pu’er. The green is an interesting Japanese selection that has puffed brown rice in it. Endlessly complex, I’ve never had anthing like it.
my mind is going 200 miles an hour. The only thing I can think about is all the work I didn’t get done today and everything that must get done tomorrow. Brew a cup of rooibus and watch Jon Stewart. Sleep will come, but not yet.
My go-to black tea. Stevia and a little milk. Simple perfection.
Fantastic chinese green. From the Chunmee family or “eyebrow” meaning the tea curves at the end. This shop in Orlando is a kewl shop with its book swap and super-vegan/raw menu. They’re the only place in Florida so far i’ve been able to find this tea. I brew several pots, chill, add stevia and serve cold. Perfect antidote to the Florida humidity.
Not my favorite ginseng blend. They could have done just a simple Ginseng and Rooibos blend, but they had to add apples, oranges and a bunch of other junk to make it appeal to the kool-aid palette. Wish I hadn’t bought as much of this tea as I did. Mostly a pass.
Not a big Rooibus fan. Trying to change my mind.
Roommate’s X gave me this tea and when I was in seattle I visited Teahouse Kuan Yin. Fantastic herbal blend… and I don’t usually like herbal.
Brewed several pots in a coffee brewer, added stevia then chilled and drank cold.
