From the Fall sampler, which my friend was kind enough to gift me (along with the tea chocolate) when she came to visit!

Dry, this smells like apples and thick, gooey caramel. Very promising. Steeped, this tastes like apple juice, which is great because that’s close to its intended flavor. That being said, there’s this weird fluffiness to the taste that I couldn’t place until I got to the last few sips in my mug.

This tea tastes like apple juice Jello.

Not that that’s a bad thing, it’s quite pleasant. It’s just … not cider?

Too bad too, because apple cider is one of my favorite things and this tea is a lot cheaper than buying jug after jug of it.

Brew it with a bit of snickerdoodle tea and it tastes like awesome mulled cider!

Oooh! I would never have thought of that! I’ll try it tonight. What ratio did you use, 50:50?

I became interested in tea spring 2013, when some friends of mine brought me to a local tea shop. I’ve been experimenting since, and am absolutely in love! I am especially fond of blended teas, and I’m a sucker for gimicky flavors.

My cupboard is stocked with a lot of DAVIDsTEA at the present, although I do have a few teas from some local shops. I’m looking forward to branching out and trying teas from different vendors and shops. Let the journey begin!
