“Wow! Cookies!” my fiance exclaimed upon smelling this tea.

I really wish this one tasted like cookies. I’ve had this plain before and didn’t love it, so I immediately added milk and a 1/4tsp of sugar. I can taste the coconut, but little else; there’s no fruit in this one. This one is sadly forgettable.

drank Oh Canada! by DAVIDsTEA

This is a resteep I made in my teapot last night. Sadly, I fell asleep before I got to drink my tea. On the bright side, the leaves steeped overnight and I’m actually getting more maple flavor this time! This is really sweet and smooth and I’m loving that I can FINALLY taste the maple!

I don’t know how to feel about this one. I’ve read the reviews that say it’s like liquid maple syrup and … well … I’m not getting that. It’s smooth and sweet and I really like it. Like, “Wow, I can’t believe I didn’t pick up a sample of this the first time I was at a DAVIDsTEA !” good. But it’s also something I can drink without really thinking to much about it — mindless enjoyment. I wonder if I’m so used to consuming overly-flavored things I can’t appreciate more subtle tastes in tea.

On the brightside, at least my fiance got maple syrup from this blend.

Resteeping to try again later.

Backlog.

I love this tea. While I don’t get kettle corn from the taste, I do get sweet caramel. This tea is delicious and really hits the spot if you’re craving something desserty. My only complaint is that I have a lot of leftover chunks that smell like caramel — I used up all the other pieces in this blend, and I’m not sure what to do with these. Maybe put them into some plain green tea I have? Hmm.

drank Cookie Dough by DAVIDsTEA

This was part of my first-ever DAVIDsTEA order, in large part because of the fabulous reviews of it here on Steepster. As a dessert lover looking to replace sweets with tea, this sounded perfect. Cookie dough? In tea form? Oh yes yes yes.

Dry, this smells exactly like fresh cookies — reminds me a lot of chocolate chip cookies with walnuts, actually. Steeped, it’s a fairly plain tea that doesn’t retain much of the nutty, cookie flavor present in the dry leaves. Maybe part of the issue is the large size of the walnuts … I should have tried crushing them up a bit so that I’d get a better ratio of tea to nut bits. Other than that, though, this is smooth and sweet enough to drink plain. I do really enjoy this tea, despite the fact that it’s not the liquid baked good I was expecting.

I’m on the fence with this one. I want so much to like it, I want so much for it to be this amazing fruity tea and it’s just not. It was one of my work teas, but I got so sick of the oily feeling it was leaving in my mouth that I stopped drinking it.

I tried some again tonight. I have some cinnamon creamed honey on hand and thought that and this tea would be a good combination. Surprisingly, the honey is getting rid of the oily feeling this tea previously gave me. It’s not adding a lot of sweetness and the cinnamon doesn’t pop as much as I wanted, but this is good. Maybe this is how I’ll sipdown the remainder of this tea…

reviewed Tea Canteen by DAVIDsTEA

My fiance and I each got one of these for Christmas. We both wanted a spill-proof, leak proof vessel to take tea (iced tea for the fiance – hot drink hater!) to work or on hikes in. We looked at the Timolinos, but decided this would be more practical for our purposes.

I love this travel mug! I’ve never had a perfectly spill proof mug before, and it’s fantastic. I never have to worry about my car or purse getting tea stained. Plus, this really does keep tea steaming hot for hours, even when it’s freezing outside.

My only complaint is that the opening of this canteen is just narrow enough where I can’t fit my smallest infuser in it. I have to either brew tea outside the canteen or use a fillable tea bag. Despite that, I’m really happy I got this.

Thanks for recommending . I got it and I use it every time I go to my kids after school activities

YAY! I’m glad you like it. :-) I just wish they made the opening just the tiniest bit bigger. Then this would be perfect…

drank Earl Grey Creme by Teavana

This one doesn’t give me the same POP! of cream and sweet flavors that the DAVIDsTEA Earl Grey Cream does, but it brews up quite nicely. It’s a mild Earl Grey Cream, with the same sweetness and smooth taste but none of the bold personality. I like it, and might get more of this one (it’s a bit cheaper than Davids) when I run out of what I have.

This tea does smells like chocolate, but it doesn’t taste like hot chocolate. It’s smooth, not very sweet, and totally forgettable. I was really hoping I’d like this.

I’ll try again later with milk and sugar.

I became interested in tea spring 2013, when some friends of mine brought me to a local tea shop. I’ve been experimenting since, and am absolutely in love! I am especially fond of blended teas, and I’m a sucker for gimicky flavors.

My cupboard is stocked with a lot of DAVIDsTEA at the present, although I do have a few teas from some local shops. I’m looking forward to branching out and trying teas from different vendors and shops. Let the journey begin!
