49 Tasting Notes
Nice Moroccan mint-y sort of tea. Can’t really taste the vanilla, but the balance of green and mint is very pleasant.
Ah, that’s a nice cuppa.
It looks like dragonwell, it tastes like a dragonwell, but until I can have a work friend translate the tin (hopefully it’s Chinese on it!), I won’t know for sure. We’re going to roll with dragonwell for the moment though. A friend brought it and some other lovely teas back for me from Singapore. It’s been a long time since I picked up dragonwell, I don’t know why, because I do really enjoy it. Mmmm. Dragonwell!
There’s my Ti Kuan Yin…
Genmaicha for a sleepy Friday afternoon. Not doing much to help the sleepies, but it’s a nice, sturdy, solid sort of tea.
Not enough sleep last night. Just sat and watched the tea leaves unfurl. Will probably steep a few times, then am considering to switching over to the kitchen gunpowder. But this first. Hopefully it will work better and more gently than tape on my eyelids…
Another night that seems to call for a big ol’ pot of Wei Chi Cha. Oh yes indeed.
Living on the edge today & used probably a few extra bits of tea than this size of cup calls for. Shh. Don’t tell anyone. Tasty jasmine tea, all day long…
Down to three bags of this lovely stuff, as of this cuppa. Was hoping it would perk me up like it so often does. I think it did, but I’m apparently easily distractable today so while I’m perkier, I am, alas, not entirely as productive as I had hoped. Or at least not productive in the direction I was hoping to be productive, which is neither here nor there.
Lovely lovely Assam… using it as a balm to cover the twitchy ear worm from waking up to Lady Gaga on NPR.
