Plum Crazy from Joy's Teaspoon
97

Trying this sample thanks to JoysTeaspoon! Thank you!

This is delightful, especially on such a warm, sunny day. The fruity plum taste is very strong and well-balanced with the black tea ratio. The black tea itself is mellow, and doesn’t sharpen the tea with its bitterness at all. Honestly, this outshines the Adagio Plum I’m always going on about. It’s just so juicy and sweet, and pretty with the bits of dried fruit and flower petals. I love it.

This is going on my Shopping List.

Argh, everything from Joy’s Teaspoon always sounds amazing and tends to have great reviews. This is one I’ve strongly considered a number of times..

I would say go for it if you’re really into fruity teas! You got the samples too, right? Because if you didn’t you should request some. :3

I did get the samples…I’ve places two orders since then, lol. The first was of the teas I asked for samples of, then naomi sent another sample with that order which I promptly ordered. Vicious cycle!

I’ll probably be joining that cycle eventually, haha. But I have SO much tea to go through before then.

Bio

Quiet, strange, and in love with the world of tea. 20-something and living just outside of Atlanta. Cat lover, EBM/industrial geek, balcony gardener, and collector of fossils. On the hunt for the perfect tea in each of my favorite categories.

I prefer black and fruit teas, but I’m trying to broaden my horizons. My favorites tend to be yunnan tips, earl grey, golden monkey, chai, and darjeeling. My favorite add-ons are plum, cinnamon, coconut, apple, raspberry, bergamot, cucumber, sage, vanilla, and caramel.

I’m shy about green tea, curious about white, and learning to love oolong. I hate rooibos and anything with orchid, fennel, or jasmine.

I’m currently trying to grow my own tea. I have a 2-year-old potted Camellia sinensis, and I plan on picking a tiny bit of new growth this spring for my first try at drying my own leaves.

I have a habit of shopping at Asian grocery stores, so I end up pioneering a lot of teas that are new to Steepster.

I’m always down for a trade, so feel free to browse my cupboard and note me!
