Smell….. so much limey goodness. Not fresh lime though, like key lime pie scent.

Steeped the tastes isn’t as strong as the smell. It’s creamy lime goodness. As the smell it’s like key lime pie. I’m not getting any coconut taste, but this is really tasty. My fav of the ones I’ve had so far.

This was a really nice tasting black tea, but unfortunetly I detect no tastes of Maple or cinnamon, maybe some vanilla which is why it’s smooth.

Another sample that I don’t know where it came from. Bad tattoed, bad. Apologies!

Why oh why did I wait so long to try this? It is so good. By the time I drank it it had reached room temp & now it is pretty cold.
At room temp this was very good, fruity, juicy. & melon like. So yummy. Even colder now it’s better. Definitely one that would be fabulous iced this summer by the pool ( maybe with a touchof vodka…. shhhh)

Also a great alternative to juice for the kids.

ETA: My daughter downed the rest of the mug. Guess it is a good one!

Again not sure who I got this one from.

This steeped up rather dark for a white tea.
It has a light honey dew taste and a strong earthy taste, which pretty well takes over.
There was some bitterness which may have been a result of a slight over steeping. Darn finicky white tea.

I’m not sure who this came from.

ick, this is terrible. I only got a hint of what tasted like it was suppose to be Graham cracker. No smoke, no cream, just black and that slight almost spice taste.

Another sample from a swap, this time from kasumi

When I opened the baggie I couldn’t figure out why I would request this, it wasn’t until after I drank it & read the description that I realized why I would ask for this.

This was very different in taste from something I would normally choose, but I’m glad I did. It’s earthy & slightly spicy from the Ginger. and then you get the creamy coconut deliciousness at the end of the sip. I really enjoyed this one.
Definitely want more.

Seems I’m running through all my samples from alphakitty today.

This is such a pretty tea.
I of course didn’t read the recommendations for this as, I always brew my tea how I want. Yea I’m a little stubborn, and I could probably learn a few things if only I listened. Alas I did not.

This was so light & refreshing… hot. So yummy I couldn’t even let it cool. I definitely get a melon taste but almost more of a cantaloupe taste. I can see the little ‘hairs’ in my tea hehe

Either way this is delicious. Very beautiful. I’m sure this would be fantastic iced as well.

I also received this one from alphakitty

As I was sipping this I kinda forgot it was suppose to be cotton candy flavored. It was a nice, light, refreshing blueberry green ( but more generic berry flavour). I found as it cooled I tasted more blueberry. I really enjoyed this, but then got kind of sad after reading the other reviews and seeing everyone got the cotton candy flavour :(

I don’t get much cotton candy either when this is hot, I think it’s best iced like the reg cotton candy blend

tattooed_tea

I have enough for another mug.
Do you cold brew, or pour over ice?

Alphakitty

I usually cold brew, I find that sometimes the over ice method comes out a little bitter.

tattooed_tea

how long do you generally cold brew something. I lack the patience to wait for my tea & never remember to do it the night before

Alphakitty

Usually 12 hours, I do it the night before so it goes while I am sleeping. But I think you could do a shorter steep, you can usually tell when it is done by the color.

tea-sipper

I think you steeped it too long! In my notes, after I waited for the water to cool a while, the flavor after 30 seconds was great but I put the infuser back in for 15 more seconds and much of the flavor was lost. I’ll go for 35 seconds total next time.

drank Mango Ice Cream by 52teas

I received this from alphakitty

I don’t get much in smell other than just a black tea, as it steeps I geta bit of a mango smell.

At first sip I don’t get much flavour other than some astringency.
I am tasting a bit of mango & a slight amount of cream, this tea may have benefited from a little less leaf than I usually use. and I may have steeped it a bit long.

Boiling 4 min, 15 sec
