290 Tasting Notes
I has this on a chilly morning while taking the girls to the bus stop. It smelt so good & tasted great, I really got the chocolate & caramel, however lacked the almonds. Great as a pick me up in the morning or for dessert, without as many calories as a real dessert.
Sounds like a dream, smells like one…. tastes more like a nightmare. It was so sweet I could barely choke down my 8oz cup (and I love sweets). I could hardly get past the sweetness to taste the yummy tangerine. I’m hopeing a second cup with fewer leaves will help this one along.
I am a chocolate fiend, so the smell of this alone made my mouth water. The tea had a nice flavour, it could have tasted a little more chocolatey. Like most teas that have promised heat I haven’t found it. Most dissapointed by the lack of heat.
Loved the smell of this, it actually made my mouth water. There were actual full cherries in my bag. It had a nice sweet, slightly tart taste with a nice cherry flavour. One of my new favs for sure.
I’m not a huge fan of rooibos because I find the rooibos itself is usually quite strong & has an almost alcohol taste to it. I found this to have a nice sweet taste but definetly didn’t get the raspberry.
I was so excited to try this, it smells fabulous & I love all things spicy. I was terribly dissapointed. I doubled the amount of leaves, as I do with all tea, good thing I did, because I would have been sipping hot water. There was very little strawberry flavour & although there was a slight peppery after taste, the “blazing” was definetly missing.
The scent of this was amazing. I was a little worried because of all the chamomile, but I was pleasantly suprised with the taste. The sweetness & caramel, although I was really missing the banana.
Now to find a tea that tastes a lot like bananas!
This is my favourite tea, even with all the flavours out there. It’s very calming. Add some extra leaves when you’re sick and watch your sinuses clear & allow your throat to be soothed. Fantastic!
I think the rooibos over powers all the other flavours in this tea. If you can get past the rooibos, you can taste a hit of strawberry & a slight amount of cream. I find even the dry notes smell mostly of rooibos as oppose to strawberry.
I have only sipped this tea hot, but adore it cold. Especially tasty with a bit og vodka added. YUM!
