296 Tasting Notes
Received this as a sample in one of my recent orders, I’m about to receive my 3rd order in less than a month. I do not have a problem haha
Ugh I hate the way the stevia makes this smell, so much like alcohol. Hey don’t get me wrong I like me some alcohol, but I don’t want my tea tasting/smelling like it, unless I add it.
Alas all that aside this is actually quite good, sweet & tart & berry. I bet this would be really good iced.
So I originally brewed this up yesterday to take to work with me & forgot it at home. By the time I got home it was too late to drink a black tea, but I had a sip & it was very good.
I ended up drinking about half the mug this morning, it was a bit less than room temp as I left the windows open all night.
This was WAY better after having sat & at this temp. It was tart raspberry & so cakey good. I wish I would have had time to drink more of it. I’m craving it right now.
Ugh sipping this tea contemplating why people have to be butts & sell concert tickets for way over face value. «grumbles» I just wanna go see Hedley again & not break the bank.
I couldn’t figure out what the dry leaves smelt like, it was familiar; so I re-read the ingredients…. almond.
This is a really tasty tea, but I’m not convinced it tastes like cake, delicious, but not cake. I sear I get a blueberry taste. It’s sweet, without really being sweet… yea that doesnt makw much sense, but it is what it is lol
It’s vanilla & ok maybe I do get some cake flavours at the end of the sip. The rooibos is also light, which I like.
Alright so basically any company that comes out with a rhubarb/strawberry rhubarb tea, I will buy it.
I guess I like rhubarb way more than I thought, or maybe It’s the strawberry rhubarb pie connection.
Oh my the packaging for these teas are just so cute. And the im a teabird stickers (they should sell those).
Dry & steeped this is so freshly cooked rhubarb.
I’m getting entirely a cup of cooked rhubarb & that is totally fine woth me. Oh this is so good. Might even be better than DAVIDs strawberry rhubarb parfait. And I don’t taste the rooibos which is a huge bonus.
As this cools more to room temp it becomes way more creamy& custardey, but far less like rhubarb. Still wonderfully delicious.
Prepared this one basically to the instructions on the bag.
It smelt like sherbet, but it also smelt highly of.black tea…. Erg
It definitely did taste like delicious rainbow sherbet, but tasted way to strongly of black tea for my liking. With several teaspoons of rock sugar I was able to kill the black tea taste enough to thoroughly enjoy the creamy rainbow sherbet goodness.
It’s iced tea season…. Yay!
I bought this in December when they had the 75% off sale.
Finally decided to try this. Flash iced this.
The smell both dry & steeped is lightly berry & herbaley.
Taste wise it’s much the same lightly flavoured, a touch sweet & herb tasting.
It’s not great, but it’s good. Definitely enjoy this one. I do get a touch of bitterness, I think my water was too hot & some metallic taste near the end of the sip.
Got this in the iced tea set at the end of the season last year, basically bought it only for my girls to have the blueberry bliss & pineapple kona pop.
This is very similar in raspberry taste to Teaopia’s Raspberry Mint mojito. It’s very raspberry tasting, not really getting the lemon & thankfully you don’t taste the mate.
I would consider adding mint to this one when I run out of the mojito one.
I wont be as hard on this tea as everyone else, cause guess what? I actually like it pu’erh & all.
Its got that cinnamon heart quality, taste etc, except It’s way better than most cinnamon heart teas, where this one doesn’t taste like you melted a bunch if hearts into a cup.
It’s sweet, cinnamoney & kinda earthy.
Made my first attempt at a cold brew last night, let this sit for about 12 hours.
Normally i wouldn’t write 2 notes about the same tea, but this is so amazing cold brewed that I have to tell you about it.
Ermahgerd its devine, spectacular, delicious. Straight strawberry rhubarb pie filling, with a touch of creamyness. Heaven in a cup. On nom nom.
