This tea is weird. I get the chocolate scent in the dry notes, but once its steeped it tastes floral like. Definetly no chocolate & no cream.

I received this one from alphakitty, hmmm yea pretty sure that’s who this one was from.
this smells mostly vanilla like with a hint of mint.
it tastes the opposite mostly mint (although lightly) with a hint of vanilla.
this is a very light puerh, it would be great after a meal, most likely lunch, cause if I drank it after supper I’d be wired all night.
I really like this one, light & delicious. definitely want to add this to my cupboard.

I forgot to smell the dry leaves, but as soon as the hot water hit this I could smell pine needles. really? in a Chinese/ Japanese tea? oh but yes, the smell & taste reminds me of camping, I can smell it sitting here next to me.
it tastes like choke cherries, so delicious, tart & dry. yum! as this cools in tastes just like wintergreen leaves I would pick from the forest floor, yet sweet & tart. this is Devine!
I think this is my first Lupicia tea. I must get more, but I think the green would be even better. although this is quite the light flavored black.

I received a sample from kasumi, I used a little too much water for the amount of leaves I had. dry this smells berry like, a mix of them.
I over steeped it a lil too much and I could smell the astringency and that’s basically all I could taste.
so boo on this one, so rating for now on this one either.
So basically the city is shut down today due to weather, no busses, no mail, no school (college & university included), even Walmart is closing. Highways closed to & from the city.
So I’m doing a sample sipdown. Finished off pineapple upsidedown cake.
Then this.
I wasn’t getting much of this flavour wise, I was getting scents of spices & almost coffee like smells.
I’m still not sure how this actually tastes, I have a wee bit left to make a small mug. So we will see then.
No numerical rating for now.
I’m not much of a fan of pineapple, of any sort, fresh, canned, juice etc. But I love Della Terra, so I definetly wanted to try this.

This smells very bakey, cakey goodness.
It steeps up much the same, so delicious. Certain teas should be made into candles, this is one. hmmmm that gives me an idea…
Anyways this is very cake like, at first I didn’t think I tasted pineapple, but on the third sips & so on I got a slight hint of sweet, tangy pineapple.
This is really great. So good. Another win!

The dry notes smell cookie like, but only lightly so.
As this steeped I had to sniff around trying to figure out where the baking cookie smell was coming from…. duh, my tea. Even my girls couldn’t believe how much it smelt like actual cookies baking. This is by far the most aromatic tea I’ve ever had.
It’s a little light on taste, only slightly cookie, maybe a bit stale. Could be my steeping I used a little less leaves than usual & kinda forgot about it.
I do believe I have more coming from someone else, so I’ll definitely have to experiment with this one, it’s got so much yummy potential.
ETA: re-tried this, more cookie flavour this time, however still getting the old/stale taste. Still a really great flavour though.
I received my matcha order & decided I wanted to mix 2 flavours. Hello Cookies & Cream Cheescake.
So I mixed roughly equal part cookies & cream matcha & cheesecake match.
Although I definetly got some sweetness (didn’t add anything), I’m not positive how I feel about this one.
Neither flavour stands out & there is an almost alcohol tasting quality to it. :/ It’s creamy & dessert tasting as well, but not as much as I hoped from other reviews. I dunno, hopefully I have better luck trying them seperately.

this smells so much like strawberry rhubarb pie it’s freaky.
I can taste delicious tart rhubarb & sweet juicy strawberry. Not getting any parfait taste or pie taste, but pure pie filling. ermahgerd!! so freaking good.
I wonder what this would taste like mixed with Della Terra’s Oatmeal rasin cookie. that may give it the bakeyness needed to taste pie. maybe the next one.
I bought this as one of the teas for the participants in the 12 days of Christmas swap.
I had tried this mixed with the maple bacon tea. it was unique.
today I brewed it up on it’s own. my first sip tasted just like pancake, but not any pancake, you know when there is slightly too much butter in the pan & the edges of a pancake are almost deep fried? Crunchy, buttery & bakey yummy yum yum
if you’ve never had a pancake like this, go, now & make some. My grandmother use to make all pancakes this way.
it’s strange the flavour throughout didn’t come through the rest of my mug.
I got a mostly black tea flavour with maple & occasionally some pancake flavour.
oh lemon, my mom & I make these lemon squares that are so good.
and my local tea house carries these ridiculously amazing lemon squares omg. they are my weakness.

I thought I had reviewed this the first time I drank it… oops must have forgot. I received this in one of my orders as a sample. I’ve ordered from Della Terra about 3 times in 3 months. Love them!!!
this isn’t quite as tart & lemony as the first time I had it, probably not even leaves.
I’m not sure I get a whole lot of bakey goodness in this one, more like a creamy lemon.
this is part of my sipdown which I was suppose to do yesterday, but hey I was dying in hangover city & although the tea would have helped I had no energy to make any.

This smelt nice creamy, vanillaey but also floral like. I really don’t like floral flavours.

it probably isn’t one I would have chosen for myself, but that’s what’s so great about swaps & the little extras.
I really enjoyed this, I brewed it hot, but probably would enjoy it cold even more so.
it’s fruity, sweet, tart & spicy… but just to say you get the spices which is great.
it reminds me a lot of vampire voodoo from The Tea Store in Ottawa.

The dry leaves smell just like cookie dough…. mmmmmm
This tea is scrumptious. It tastes JUST like cookie dough with chocolate chips. How they do this with the ingredient list is beyond me. So freakin good!

I’ve kinda newly ventured into oolongs, after a recommendation from my local tea house.
This is good, creamy, slightly banana tasting & green tasting. (Although not earthy like the last oolong I had), It’s very green tasting, like a not quite ripe banana.
This is super nice, but not quite enough banana taste, but still a really great delicious tea. Probably one I will order!

As a recommendation from my tea ladies I gave this one a try, it’s a new one.
this is spool amazing. creamy, nutty, caramelly and so beautifully earthy at the end of the sip. This may be my absolute favorite tea ever.
I’ve had it twice since Monday & bought a bag.
I think my favorite part of this tea is the earthiness. it’s quite spectacular.
must try more flavored oolongs.
I finally got around to trying this. It was part of my black Friday order.
This smells very rooibos like in the leaves. Rooibos can be so hit or miss, I can smell the ginger mostly & kind of some fruityness.
Once steeped this smells bakey & cookie like, and mostly like ginger. This is really yummy. I don’t really think it tastes like a ginger snap. I expect a ginger snap to he spicy, gingeree & cinnamonee. I remember sucking on ginger snaps until they would melt. Yum.
Although not at all what I expected this is really delicious & cookie like, just not a ginger snap.
On the 12th day of Christmas Sare sent to me, this tea.
I’m a little late on this, but I have been spending a lot of time with my girls and family while I have time off work.
So I made a whole pot today in my new tea pot, I also got some of this from my cousin.
I was sprised not to see vanilla in the ingredients list, I found it to be creamy & sweet. Lightly minty & 7 delicious. This a really nice holiday tea, but I would probably drink it all year long.
I ended up receiving this tea as a sample after they forgot to include them in my iniitial order, then sent me 6.
The dry notes are fruity & citrusy. However on the package it says nothing about citrus.
Once brewed its much the same.
The taste is fruity, very citrus & sweet. Also kind of medicinal. There is also a strange after taste, I can’t figure it out for the life of me.
The notes on here say there is mint? I’m not getting it, but maybe its what is reminding me of the medicinal taste.
I don’t know how to rate this tea, I like it, but its kind of strange.
8th day of Christmas from The Purrfect Cup
As soon as I saw what tea it was, I was super excited. And then I made my daughter smell it, she is a Cantaloupe fiend. She could eat an entire melon by herself.
This is my first Butiki tea, & probably the one from there that I have wanted the most.
This smells exactly like cantaloupe! So meloney!
It steeps up to smell a little more cream like with the cantaloupe.
I’m not sure I get all that much cream, but man do you ever get the taste of a fresh, juicy, delicious cantaloupe. This is so true to the taste, it’s amazing. I definetly think I can get my little Serena (who will have nothing to do with) to drink this one iced.
And this is fabulous hot or cold. om nom nom

Day 7 of the 12 days of Christmas
When I opened this I knew it was going to be delicious. It smelt caramel like, like dulce de leche. I didn;t really get any coconut in smell, until I steeped. I wasn’t expecting much in regards to coconut because I have been let down by so many coconute teas before.
But this…. OMG! This is devine. Sweet, coconut, caramel. Amazing. This is THE coconut tea I have been looking for. It is soooo good, even though it has been sitting all day.
Day 4 of the 12 days of Christmas.
Finally getting to try this, I didn’t have time to steep it before work on Monday & I can’t drink black teas after 5pm. Or I get no sleep.
Alright so this is definetly berry smelling. I’m not exactly sure what black currants taste like. So this is berry like, almost raspberry-ey. A little on the artificial berry, but still very nice. I over steeped it a bit, so it does have a touch of astringency. But overall a really nice tea

Thanks Daisy-Chubb, this is the plain cinnamon black tea I have been looking for.
Nicely cinnamon like, with a nice black base. It’s reminiscent of candy hearts, but not like a melted cup of them (which I have found many teas to be). It’s just to say sweet, not not overly so in any way. Perfectly balanced!!
And oh the pretty glitter, which hits the cup right away <3

This is yummy! Freakin love this. It’s so mapley good. I accidentally over steeped it & had to add a bit of milk. But it was still sooooo delicious.
