Buddha's Blend from DAVIDsTEA

First time I steeped it per the instructions. It was bitter and pretty near awful. It seems very prone to oversteeping. I’ve taken to steeping for only 2 – 2.5 minutes at a lower temperature – this actually lets me taste the peachy tones to it and it is quite enjoyable.

This is a black tea with a chocolate note to it. They no longer advertise it on their website, so I cannot recall the full flavourings. It visibly contains almond slices and other seeds I cannot identify by sight.

The mint definitely overpowers the other flavours, but it’s good. Just don’t expect a chocolate flavour.

Purchased this on the spot because of the aroma alone. It smells like Fruit Certs! That said, it doesn’t deliver as much of a flavour as I expected based on the aroma. I had hoped for a fairly distinct cherry flavour. It’s ok enough for me to finish the tin, but I likely won’t be buying it again.
