So today…. is the last episode of my beloved balm Supernatural after all these years. I will miss it dearly! I’m always having epic Supernatural themed dreams. Once, a cathedral aflame with pterodactyls flying around… IN the flaming cathedral. Fun.
Thanks again for the swap, AJRimmer! I think this is the last of the Teavivre hibiscus blends I needed to write tasting notes for. And yet again, not much to say, the blend itself is full of red ingredients, so no surprise when the flavor is mostly hibiscus. Also a slight hint of possibly orange. The second steep is much more toned down on the scarlet and tartness – but probably all of the other flavors are less as well. So more bland overall, even if I’m also losing the hibiscus. The brew is now orange. And now that I’m reading Teavivre’s description, it also mentions a heavy orange note. (My blend also looks much more full of hibiscus than the photo is.) Maybe I can try handpicking hibiscus out before steeping in the future, but I’m not sure what that leaves…
Steep #1 // 1 1/2 teaspoons for full mug // 10 minutes after boiling // 2 minute steep

My sisters love Supernatural, but they did note that there are a fair number of not great episodes you have to get through, so I never ended up checking it out. Maybe one day!
Oh, I probably just love all the dang episodes. haha
I dip in and out of Supernatural. When the real world gets too challenging, there are always those 2 earnest brothers fighting the good fight…
