Violet drank Peach Bliss Tea by Culinary Teas

Backlog from yesterday afternoon!

This tea was ok.

Smell: Dry, in the bag. Cirtusy, and a bit peachy. An odd mix, really. Couldn’t place everything. Steeping it was about the same.

Taste: Very subtle, though I swear there was something citrusy, so I added a bit of lemon. It was alright, actually. The peach was….there? Maybe? I don’t know. It was kind of bitter, too.

My guess is that I need to try again, maybe add more leaf, and also maybe try it cold. I’ll add more once I do that. Though it might be a little while.

My tea reviewing: I am open, honest, and way excited! I always start with the smell of the tea, first dry and then steeped. Then I head into taste, and if it seems important or nice, the color. And then finally, anything extra that needs to be said.

Tea making and drinking has become a ritual for me, a calming, wonderful thing that I love and it’s just something that makes me happy. :-) Loose leaf tea is my new heaven-sent love.

Favorite teas: Earl Grey, Chai, Fruit, yummy flavors like chocolate, anything sweet like that. Ummm….just good stuff, really. Open to trying pretty much anything, swapping, though not at the moment since my tea collection is a bit average and mostly bagged stuff. If you do want to get rid of some stuff, I’m willing to take and try, and I’ll try to give something in return.

I AM A STRONG BELIEVER IN ADDING SUGAR TO TEA! I will try it straight, but I am not afraid to add things to my tea, if they are natural and things that go well with it. I’m just as big of a tea lover as the dedicated purist is, I just don’t like tea straight, usually. Sugar brings out a lot of flavors. But hey, I’m not going to destroy my tea. :P

1-59: O.O NO. NEVER AGAIN. EVER!! NOOO NOO NOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS NOT TEA THIS IS EVIL IN A CUP! (Maybe not always that harsh, but yeah.)
