Violet drank Lady Londonderry by English Tea Store

Backlog from this morning!

So since I had skipped tea a lot these past few days, I decided I needed to dive back in with a tea that I really liked to remind me why I love tea. (That’s what happens to me when I stop drinking tea for a while—instead of craving it like crazy, for some reason, I feel uninterested and don’t want to make any.)

And since I already added a detailed note for this tea, I am going to just go crazy: OH MY GOODNESS I LOVE THIS TEA SO MUCH!! IT IS SO SO YUMMY AND WONDERFUL AND I TRIED MILK IN IT THIS TIME AND OH MY GOODNESS!!

Now back to the nice, formal stuff: The malty flavor came out a bit this time, along with a citrusy taste and a nice sweet. (The strawberries and lemon, again.) Milk made this tea very smooth and creamy, and it was very nice. I really do love this tea!! (Upped the rating a bit…)

Yes, yes you did. :-) Thanks so much! Because when I saw how much you sent (before tasting) I said to myself, “I hope I like this, because if not, I’m going to have a lot of un-used tea.” And of course, I could send it on to someone else, but still, I’m really glad I ended up liking it, and have lots of it. :-)

Bio needed a change, so here it is!!

My tea reviewing: I am open, honest, and way excited! I always start with the smell of the tea, first dry and then steeped. Then I head into taste, and if it seems important or nice, the color. And then finally, anything extra that needs to be said.

Tea making and drinking has become a ritual for me, a calming, wonderful thing that I love and it’s just something that makes me happy. :-) Loose leaf tea is my new heaven-sent love.

Favorite teas: Earl Grey, Chai, Fruit, yummy flavors like chocolate, anything sweet like that. Ummm….just good stuff, really. Open to trying pretty much anything, swapping, though not at the moment since my tea collection is a bit average and mostly bagged stuff. If you do want to get rid of some stuff, I’m willing to take and try, and I’ll try to give something in return.

I AM A STRONG BELIEVER IN ADDING SUGAR TO TEA! I will try it straight, but I am not afraid to add things to my tea, if they are natural and things that go well with it. I’m just as big of a tea lover as the dedicated purist is, I just don’t like tea straight, usually. Sugar brings out a lot of flavors. But hey, I’m not going to destroy my tea. :P

1-59: O.O NO. NEVER AGAIN. EVER!! NOOO NOO NOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS NOT TEA THIS IS EVIL IN A CUP! (Maybe not always that harsh, but yeah.)
