4 Tasting Notes
2.8 g in 150 ml tasting set. 90 deg C water and steep for 6 min.
Another Georgian hand made tea blended from several makers in Nagobilevi in South Ozgetia in the Republic of Georgia. Darker liquor than Natela’s Gold – deep amber. Very smooth and clean taste with the typical Georgian character of wood, even a hint of the villagers’ earthiness. I like this one very much.
Open infuser with 4.5 grams of tea in a 350 ml mug. Steep 2-3 mins. Milk to taste.
Liquor colour bright orange. Taste – still fresh, slight astringency, good flavour. Not quite the green apple tea aroma it originally had but maturing well. This is a good cup of tea from the factory that consistently gets highest prices on the Mombasa Auction. Well done Gisovu!
