Thanks to Kristin for this one! It’s darn aromatic! Awesome smell!
It’s sweet and lives up to it’s name of Apple Pie but also has that spice! It’s like Apple Pie and Spiced Cider all in one! YUMMERS!!! Thanks for this! I enjoyed it a lot!
5093 Tasting Notes
WOW! This is nice! It’s incredible! Malty, sort of creamy with a hint of sweet towards the end of the sip. It’s rich! This is a MARV Keemun. As an afterthought on the aftertaste I can pick up on either a pepper or a smoke but a tee-knee weenie hint!
Great!
I forgot to log this yesterday! Delight :)
It’s been a crazy few hours! WOW!
I received some teas from Grey’s and am super excited to try them!
This is my first one!
At first I thought it was a flavored Earl Grey. Then I thought it was some sort of Chai…an Earl Grey flavored Chai, perhaps? Regardless…the citrus is very nice. The cloves are just right and eventho it’s supposed to be a Winter WARMER this is FAB hot or cold.
This is pretty good! There are hints of mushroom that I can taste. I can also pick up the small notes of apple, too! I actually like this one better cold. It seems to fit my palate better with the flavors and I could taste the flavors better when it was cold. This is a neat pu-erh. It’s sweeter than most and I like that. The aroma isn’t funky either. Leaves a refreshing aftertaste even!
Not as strong as some EG’s I have had but it’s still satisfying! The bergamot is lovely. It doesn’t seem to leave as harsh as an aftertaste either. There is a hint of smoke towards the end of the sip that seems to fade away rather quickly. But I do like this just fine.
This is a bit sweeter than most Milk Oolongs i have tried lately and I like that difference. It’s a little less milkier – also not a bad thing in this case. The more I sip the more I like the sweetness. It’s really special!
This isn’t on their website yet but I will tell you I think it’s going to be a winner!
I appears to have black tea, chocolate bits (and maybe a little powder even), and strawberry!
This is wonderfully scented! Ahhhhh! The aroma alone stands up to this teas name! The strawberry is sweet but not tart. the chocolate is very nice! Milky-sweet chocolate and maybe a little cocoa powder but not enough to really notice…still tasty. I think I can pick up a hint of lemon even…unless it’s just part of the strawberry flavor…regardless…it’s excellent! Really nice! YUM!
Smells Great!
Coconut – check, Almond – Check, Cookie…not so much…well, it’s subtle, but I was hoping for Bready/cakey/bready! Overall GOOD tho! Nice flavor.
I think I like this cold a little bit better than hot. I can’t really explain why tho…lol…
I just like what I like :)
WOW!!!!!!!
Let me type that again…WOW!!!!!
This is DAMN good! Maybe darned-near perfect! Exactly what I was looking for in a blueberry matcha! The aroma is hypnotic! The flavor is matcha, of course, but a wonderful and perfectly balanced blueberry flavor. It’s berry but not tart and it’s smooth – believe it or not! What a very well rounded flavored matcha!
Dare, I????
DAMN Straight…I DARE…100 rating!
Sha-ZAM!
I’m rather tickled with myself!
I made a Raw(ish) Vegan Cashew Cheese
http://blissfulyogajourney.blogspot.com/
I posted a bit on my blog
Anyhow…I’m shoveling a bunch of it in my mouth and LOVE it…if I do say so myself…I’m using it as a dip for raw red and orange bell peppers as a part of my lunch.
I’m pairing this with Green Rooibos – in a bag – from J&R.
Being bagged I was a little worried but it’s not bad! It’s sweet and mouth watering and semi vegetal. It’s quite nice…hydrating, refreshing!
Really nice! Gentle to gentle-medium spices and lovely lemon. The elderberries are barely there but do add to the overall experience. This is a nifty flavored chai!
Thanks Daisy Chubb!
Not sure how many of you remember my story about the first time I tasted a Lychee so here it is again…I peeled it open and sucked out the juice and it smelled and tasted like PAINT THINNER…wtf? Anyhow…this was my first experience and let’s just say I didn’t try one again for a good-long-time!
Anyhow…
As for this tea…it doesn’t smell or taste like PAINT THINNER…thank the tea gods! It actually doesn’t have much of an aroma considering the flavoring…it’s pretty subtle.
As for the taste it’s OK…again not overly flavored but I think that seems to work with this ok.
I don’t hate it but I don’t love it. It is better than some lychee flavored teas but I can think of about 2 or 3 others I have liked better.
I am glad I got to try this one tho! Thanks again DC!
Thanks DaisyChubb!!!!
This is ok. Just ok, really. The spices are happening but not over the top by any means. I agree with DaisyChubb that it smells like taco seasoning. I also swore those were roasted edamame and not necessarily pistachios – LOL – I would also agree with others saying it’s certainly more nutty than spicy.
It’s alright…not overly memorable tho
Pretty good for a bagged black tea…satisfying, semi-bold, not too shabby at all :) Backlogging from yesterday…
Had some yesterday…backlogging…see previous notes…
Well, this smells interesting and scrumptious! Chocolate, Spice, and something like wafers.
This is really tasty! the spices aren’t over the top – they are perfect to my personal specifications! (That sounds uppity, doesn’t it!? teahee!) and the chocolate is grand! The chocolate keeps boppin’ back and forth between a milk chocolate taste and a white chocolate taste…really neat!
YUP! This puts a smile on my face…sending the rest to Anne…
Certainly one of the better Pomegranate flavored teas I have tried and also one of the better flavored Sencha’s I have tried. I think the rose pedals/petals helped the potential tarty factor. I can taste both flavors here but the Sencha base is a sweeter and smoother sencha and I like it quite a bit. The POM is just right for my palate, too! YUM! This is great hot or iced :)
Daisy Chubb is my hero!
Funny…I remember when I thought Adaigo’s Valentine’s Flavored Black was da bomb…but…this kicks it’s ass 7 ways to Valentine’s Day! :)
It’s really great! The Black tea base is still around medium strength for having flavors on top of it. The strawberry is juicy, tangy, and sweet without being tart. The chocolate smells AMAZING and the flavor on the taste buds are marvy, too! the rose is a nice touch but doesn’t overly contribute to the end result of the overall flavor but I am totally fine with that. This is the way it SHOULD be…ahhhh!
Smooth, Sweet, Creamy, Vegetal…this is nice! I agree with the product description that this is complex! There are many morphing flavors here especially for a stand alone NON flavored tea! I can pick up on notes of charcoal and roasted lima beans…plus nuttiness, too! This is a really special oolong! I like it very much! Two thumbs up!
Another goodie from DaisyChubb!!!
This smells and sort of tastes like Fruit Cake. The Sweet Orange is lovely. The spices are subtle for the most part and flow well. It’s nicely sweet, fruity, spicy, and a bit danish-like.
I really like this!
This is a neat Chai! It’s a bit mellower but the spices are NICE and the tulsi is perfect…the little bit of sweetness does go a long way! I really like this one :)
Thanks to Jessie I can finally take this one of my Tea Bucket List!!!! Woot!
This aroma is amazing!
I might be a little partial as I grew up right on the line of Western New York and Ontario and I LOVE CANADA. As a Sabres Fan I grew up with BOTH anthems, too! AND…since I have been doing genealogy have found out that my Great Grandfather was born in Canada – apparently his father ran off with his secretary – to Canada – had my Great Grandfather and then came back to the states about a year later! The three of them were missing for approx 2+ years in the meantime…oh skeletons, eh!?
Anyhow…I LOVE THIS FLAVORED ROOIBOS!!!!
The maple is outstanding and the sugary-sweetness is right on! There are caramelly-notes and the honeybush is nice, too! It’s sweet and smooth and candy and maple Niiiiice!
Very nice!
Ahhhh! LOVE this!
YUM! YUM! YUM!
Now…this really isn’t like the orange chocolate that Buffaloians hold dear but it’s still darned tasty! Many of you have heard me ramble on about Orange Chocolate which is more of a milk chocolate with orange flavors throughout. This, however, is different than that but still very good!
I had a huge slice of dried orange in mine. Woo!!!! The orange flavors increase as the liquid cools at room temp for a bit. The dark chocolate is excellent! And it IS a darker chocolate taste and not a milk chocolate. There are some spices throughout, too, which I ended up enjoy more and more as I continued to sip on it.
This is more than JUST Orange and Dark Chocolate with that addition of the spice I am tasting but this is a treat indeed and very tasty!
