This is one of the blends I created over at Adagio. This is the first time I am tasting it, however. As some of you know I am a HUGE Hockey Fan! My team is the Buffalo Sabres but I enjoy several other teams on a secondary level.
All I can say about the aroma is that it is very pleasant. A nice blend of scents. The strawberry pops out a little more than the rest of the contents, tho.
This steeps very fast. It’s quite dark in color. It has a bold taste. The taste is that of a black tea – almost one that a coffee drinker might enjoy as an alternative. It’s pretty good but none of the flavors stand out too much…they all seem to blend together nicely.
I’m thinking this would be a great MORNING tea to really wake you up OR if you are trying to stay up late to watch those overtimes or shootouts!
