Dry Leaf Scent – Lima Beans!? :)

Post infusion…

These leaves seem to be having the hardest time opening…but…that means multiple infusion attempts for me! Woot!

I guess I can smell the citrus comparison…I wouldn’t say it was the actual “fruit part of the fruit” but maybe moreso the peel!? That type of smell…sure!

This is extremely tasty! It might be hard to describe as to why I think it’s tasty, but it’s TASTY…here’s my best attempt at explaining it, however…

It’s incredibly juicy and sweet and the more I sip the more of a citrus type thought I have…like the mouthwatering juiciness from a super fresh tangerine or that perfect orange, even…no clementine or tangelo! Now I’m not saying it TASTES like citrus flavored oolong – it mostly reminds me of the juiciness and the more I taste the juicy type taste the more I think of a tangelo or clementine. Like I said…hard to explain, I guess. It’s very sweet and natural and clean. I like this very VERY very much. And the more I sit here sipping the more I like it!

Originally I rated this a 97 – the more I “drink and think” – I am thinking there couldn’t be a better tasting SWEET/Juicy type of oolong out there…so…I suppose I should give it a 100, eh!? I just don’t know how it could be better than it already is!

hmmm you make it sound really tempting ! Something I’ll have to try down the road… too bad the shipping is somewhat makes it really expensive. Well, after I’m done with the ridiculous amount of teas stacking up in my kitchen!

Is this a flavored one or just naturally citrusy?

Not flavored as such – just naturally tastes reminiscent of citrus…if you know what I mean! LOL

Wow, a tea that smells like, of all things, Lima Beans, but doesn’t taste like it? I’ve been known to say that “I can’t think of anything that I like the taste of that I don’t like the smell.” Maybe I need to be proven wrong!
