Well…this smells really wonderful with the roasted hojicha and the vanilla but I will say it’s quite the sight to see the post infused liquid…it’s really weird looking! It’s a murky gray-green-brown color…not the prettiest I have seen but let’s see what it tastes like..shall we?
The taste…It’s VERY creamy…very smooth and pretty tasty! If you are looking for a stereotypical hojicha…this isn’t really it…the vanilla does coat the roasted flavor quite a bit…but if that is what you are going for this has accomplished just that…a vanilla-creamy-hojicha. It’s a different kind kind of a cup but down right tasty, indeed!
