I prefer their Milford’s Grey over this one but this is pretty wonderful, too! It’s a stronger black tea overall with a medium strength bergamot and EG flavor to it. But that could be because I did a double shot of the Loose Leaf at half the time! I agree with Liberteas on the Drier astringency notes, too!
Thanks Liberteas
Clever Flavor Combo for this oolong! I like it very much! Different and in a good way. The rose and the lemon are a bit on the lighter side but appreciated the way they are…they are playing nice with each other.
Very nice flavor combo and offering for a flavored oolong! Nice!
Thanks Liberteas
I couldn’t find this one in the database here so I am adding it.
This was pretty good. It was of medium-strong strength. There were woodsy notes as well as a mild ‘caravan’ like flavor underneath, too. A little brash but not overly.
Heavier black tea flavor in the middle of the sip. My favorite part of the sip is this middle part! Dandy!
This slightly resembles a few other teas I have tried such as Almond Cookie and an Almond Biscotti flavored tea. It’s pretty good. The black tea is alright – not overly strong but not totally weak, either. The Almonds are nicely done. The “Candied” almonds and roses aren’t what I would call “Candied”, really. If they are trying to upgrade their Rose Marzipan I think they really missed the mark. I’m not saying it’s BAD – I’m just saying it’s NOT an improvement – I thought their Rose Marzipan was far more superior. I’m also confused by the addition of thickening agents, beet root, and gum arabic in this flavored tea, too.
Alright but not wonderful!
