Not only is this a fairly bold ceylon tea its a bold bagged ceylon tea. I had a bag last week and forgot to log and am having another one now. It has a semi-malty texture – not really a malty or bready or bakey type flavor tho but the texture is reminiscent.
I didn’t find it overly astringent but that is completely fine by me for this specific tea.
Pretty impressive! Thanks for this one, Liberteas
Sitting here waiting for Roto Rooter to do it’s thang. Sigh. Having a cuppa this. I have some backlogging to do at some point, too.
This is Azzrian’s Blend over at Uniq and I think it’s just great! I’m having a cup now but will review more down the road. My favorite part of this is the flavor combo of the strawberry AND genmaicha! Excellent idea and perfect ratios!
Liberteas Thanks for this one!
I totally agree! Spinach! Juicy Spinach! It’s vegetal, slightly sweet, slightly grassy.
Very nice green!
Upon opening this package it sort of smelled like Pistachio’s and creme/cream.
It’s a lovely flavored green tea. I enjoyed it VERY much! I had 2 infusions, actually. It’s green tea but creamy and nutty. The end-sip is a bit floral and grassy (I almost typed GASSY…lol)
This is very good!
OH! Check out my blog, btw, I posted two things today!

One is about my NEW favorite Veggie Burgers and the other is about the Vegan Stuffed Mushrooms I made for New Years Eve :)
I’ll be sharing a little of this with SIL
It smells like warm honey…it’s lovely.
See other notes.
Upping rating!
Good Stuff! Had 3 cups so far today…see previous notes…
It’s crazy morning. Having some old faves that are easy to access in my stash! See previous notes
CRAP! I thought I already reviewed this one! SOrry! I just had two cups but will try and again soon for official tasting notes!
I LOVE that this has a blended base of Black, Green, AND Oolong Teas!
It ‘brews up’ to a yellowish-orange color.
I can taste the peach and floral notes and they are lovely. More Peach than floral. I can taste the Jasmine-Green over the Oolong and the Oolong over the black. It’s a bit creamy, as well, I find that surprising but delightful!
I really like this! YUM!
Sending some to SIL
Since I nearly gagged one one chamomile-related herbal today I figured I would try and throw down another one I have been holding off on.
This has no color. It looks like water. Smells like Lav and Cham.
Tastes like Cham & Lav. Not bad for those two ingredients but not my fave ingredients at that. This one is certainly more stomach-able than that last one. I just wish I liked these two flowers in herbals more. No rating for that reason. Perhaps if you love those two ingredients you would love this tisane and I don’t want to taint that.
Thanks to Emilie for this one!
At first I was very scared of this…not only because of the dreaded hibiscus but because of the near dreaded chamomile, too. There seemed to be a LOT going on here, almost too many ingredients. But…the aroma is pretty nice. Mellower than it looks. It’s not as tarty-tasting as I thought it would be, but again there are a lot of flavor conflicts, here.
It’s not bad, but not maybe fave, perhaps if they split this one in half and made it two sep teas it would make more sense.
PS: 60 rating on hot taste test. COLD this one makes me gag…oye…6 for cold
This is WONDERFUL.
It’s slightly misty, a bit mossy, earthy, yet sweet and mouth watering!
I agree with the product description saying that this white has more body than most white teas. It’s quite hearty. This is fairly brothy – like soup. I really REALLY like this!
As I continue to sip – I can pick up some rice-Y notes, too, it too, and some floral notes.
This is darling!
Thanks Stacy for this! I can smell the Guayusa but also a good amount of apple. It’s very pleasant. My first sip I could taste both of those flavors as well in addition to clove and/or other spices. I do really appreciate the spice intensity here…it’s not over powering. The apple is the more powerful flavor and I like that. As it continues to cool a bit at room temp I can start to taste a bit or orange and that is very nice, too! This is an excellent flavored Guayusa! YUM!
Special thanks to Alphakitty for this one! I’ve enjoyed Yuzu lately. I think it especially goes good with green teas – both vegetal and sweet greens. This follows suit. It’s sweet-yuzu-orangish with a vegetal yet grassy-green tea base.
It’s brothy but sort of like flavored matcha but more than that.
It’s a goodie!
I was afraid of the hibiscus but it’s not too bad in this one. The Cranberry and Orange paired with the rooibos works well. It’s not as tart as I thought it would be considering the ingredients. I’m not sure if I would have called this one Santa’s Little Helper but then again I don’t know what I would have called it either.
It’s tasty. I think it’s mostly the cran-orange as to why I am digging it. It’s pretty good.
I went a little crazy and put a heaping tablespoon in like 4 ounces or water. I really don’t think there is a(n easy) way to screw this up!

BTW…check out my blog…new recipe and pic!
Special thanks to Azzrian for this one!
It’s tasty! I can taste a bit of chocolate, yes, but the spices are near muted so it’s lacking that chai-ness. I like the oolong base idea but it doesn’t really taste like Oolong. It’s quite tasty, regardless. Very cocoa-E.
3rd cup of this in 3 days. It’s old but still kickin’! Still a strong and bold Assam!
Back logging a few cups full review soon
Sip down from last night
Back logging from last week as well as havin a cup now pardon the short reviews n typing I’m on my iPad upping rating a bit
Consuming for EASE purposes…still enjoy it!
